I'm bringing sexy back
I brought these to light the bottom tier of my Living Room built in which I outfitted as a bar No longer being a lush the area does not require constant illumination . These work perfectly . one is bright enough to light the 34w x 20h x 16 d space however I chose to put one in the front left and a second in the back right which eliminates any dark spots . My hubby and I are able to enjoy the fireplace, and go get a glass of wine w/o ruining the ambiance and I gotta tell you the reaction I got when a guest reached for some hooch and the light came on was priceless- talk about Wow factor . Each unit runs on four AA batteries which are easy to replace because a sheaf is attached to the surface with included mounting squares and the unit slides in making battery replacement a cinch . These would also work great in a closet or anywhere else you would not want a bulb heating up a space and on the matter of heat these LED bulbs do n a lot of heat and are cool to the touch . I was also able to relocate two lamps I had on the ends of each shelf and who does not like less clutter? the unit is 1 &1/8 " my shelf overhang was just long enough to make them invisible, if yours is shallower it will show . The price was lower than the average under cabinet lights I saw on line and others did not have the motion sensor feature . I highly recommend these to anyone needing a bright stick on light. I do urge anyone interested to check out the Mr Beam site because your desired use may call for a different model and you may need a 2 or 6 pack sold on the site

These are great
I highly recommend these, and the white ones. I use them in my bedroom so I don't trip over the dog stairs, and on the stairway going to the 2nd floor as I often miss the bottom step coming down in the dark; at the side of the top and bottom steps. They do not need to be mounted and can just be tipped forward during the day. They have no light-sensing shut-off so they will come on anytime you walk by (I think the white are ambient light-sensing). So, I just tip them forward when I don't want them to come on. They have flat sides to allow that. If you choose to mount them they will go on and off all day long with any movement. Either tip them forward or order the white ones that sense light if that is more convenient. I like the 20 second off setting (you can chose 20 or 60 seconds). The light is blinding bright if you look at them while on, but they light up the path well, if you do not look directly at them it is best; looks like they have a focus lens. For the bedroom lights I placed the sensor-'blinders' (enclosed sensor shades) that narrow the sensing-beam. If you do not use the 'blinders' they have a range of at least 10', with the 'blinder' it is still distant but it does not activate with peripheral (from the side) movement as quickly. The stair lights do not have 'blinders' put on so it senses better as I approach. I have no idea how long these will last, or how fast they will take to go through batteries; depends on your time setting and if you let them activate all day or not. These would work well for any place not used much (unless you tip them), like a guest closet, but they are very bright. If I had my druthers I'd want a light sensor so they would not go off all day, but tipping is easy and fine, and our bedroom is dark all-day anyway. I plan on using one under our RV medicine cabinet, in the bathroom. I have a nightlight for when we are plugged-in or on generator, but this will be handy there, mainly when we are not on other AC power. They are small and take 4 AA batteries each, free standing, or screwed on or two-sidded tape mounted. Very nice. If you use it under a cabinet it will activate with any movement and could be annoying. The blinders are mainly for cabinet use. I hope this helps someone. Great for power-outages and very bright.

Very good with the potential to be almost perfect
I have several Mr. Beams lights and overall am VERY pleased with them. I love the concept of this slim led light. I put one in a closet; it lights the space perfectly. It's been in there for about a year and still have not changed the batteries. Awesome! Here's my gripe with this specific light: all the other Mr. Beams lights have motion AND light sensors, this one does not. I put a couple under cabinets to illuminate the counter-top or sink and it does a great job BUT they go off even when it's bright and not needed. Therefore, I make sure to use rechargeable batteries with these, as they need to be replaced every couple of weeks - yikes! The ceiling light is awesome, kicks off a bunch of bright light AND has a light sensor! I have their spot lights outside in my back yard, they work really well, batteries last a long time because (drumroll ...) THEY HAVE A LIGHT SENSOR! I also have the smaller low light wall mounted night lights everywhere. LOVE them! They helped us endure Hurricane Sandy so much easier. I bought a bunch for CHRISTMAS gifts as well. I have 3 dogs who go out by themselves at night through their doggie door, setting off the lights quite often and yet the batteries in those last a long time too - usually six months or more. Why? Light sensor! Clearly, I am a customer who is very happy with Mr. Beams products overall, but you guys dropped the ball with this one. A light sensor would make them pretty darn perfect. Thanks for your consideration.

I really love these lights
I really love these lights. Very easy to install and shines a bright wide beam of light on the counter top I was dreading the under-counter LED hard wired project I was about to under take, when I saw these lights. The batteries last a fairly long time, depending on the number of times the lights are activated by motion. The only negative I have with these lights, is the light sensor. It could be a little more sensitive to the amount of light is needed to complete the "ON" circuit. The motion sensor is sensitive enough and even comes with a shield that can be put over the sensor to limit the range of motion to a smaller area. Out kitchen has a fair amount of shade areas, and the lights come on even during the daylight hours. But that doesn't bother me that much. At night the lights work great. No wiring, no switches, no mess or fuss. Just attach the mount with the self adhesive pad or the 2 screws, install the 4 AA batteries, slide the unit into the mount and VOILA! ALL DONE!I even purchased the Mr. Beams for the hallway and love them too!

FARETTO A LED

Great product for under cabinet lighting, closets or basements
I purchased 5 of them to use as under cabinet lighting, in my foyer closet and in my unfinished basement. I was amazed by how fast I received the items after ordering. They arrived next day by UPS to my Toronto home. The instructions were easy to follow and installation was simple. I mounted them with the supplied screws since double-sided tape does not stick well to my kitchen cabinets. All that is required is a drill and a pencil to mark the 2 holes. I like how it uses AA batteries as they are always on sale. The light is the perfect colour. It is whitish-yellow which matches my incandescent kitchen lights. I was worried they would be bluish-white. I like how sensitive the motion sensor is and the light output is good. I was hoping to use one over my kitchen sink, but with my tall cabinets, the light output is not enough. Overall, I'm extremely happy considering the $10.40 price tag. **UPDATE** I have since returned 1 light due to a defect in the motion sensor. The other 4 lights seem to be working flawlessly.
