Wonderful gadget!
Yay!!! Now there's no fear that I'll rip through the end of a buttonhole with my seam ripper. All I have to to do is wiggle this puppy a little and I get a perfect and clean finish.

Awesome
I will never use a seam ripper again for buttonholes. I’ve ripped through so many buttonholes that I would have anxiety when I would have to add buttons to a garment. No longer! This bad lad is easy and satisfying to use. No more sweaty palms and prayers, just crisp buttonholes!

Buttonholer cutter is great; Eyelet cutter is useless
I had a number of buttonholes (different types) that needed to be opened, and one eyelet. The buttonhole cutter cut the denim fabric easily and cleanly--I'll never use scissors again for opening a button hole. However, the awl had no impact on the eyelet or on the keyhole portion of the keyhole buttonhole. As far as I can tell the awl tool is totally a waste--it doesn't work at all.

Must have for cutting buttonholes!
3.5 years later…I’m still loving this set. Granted, I haven’t made so many things requiring it use but I just finished a button up shirt and so glad I still had this in the drawer. I debated whether this was worth $15. After cutting some unsatisfactory buttonholes, I decided to spring for it. And it's so worth it! If you're going through the trouble of making a buttonhole...don't mess it up on the cut! And to make it even more perfect, apply Fray Check before and after cutting the buttonhole.

My new and only buttonhole cutter!
I was very hesitant about the price honestly. However, you get what you pay for and what you’re paying for is an awesome product that I won’t be needing to replace soon at all. If you feel like it’s too overpriced, it’s really not!
