Tubey - The Mini Wacky Wavy Inflatable Arm Flailing Tubeman

Works great for my son who is obsessed with these. We've had about 5 of the smaller version from different brands with just the battery. Those don't work (not enough power to make tube man wave). This one does the job. I was worried about the noise but it's not obnoxious either. Not quiet but not like a hair dryer.

This is a fun toy and my son he love it!! The price was ok. Please note the item is small and therefore i think it was cute for little kid.

The 12v power supply it comes with is a little too weak. Tubey keeps getting stuck and you have to smack him to get him to move again. I used a 24v power supply, and though I love how fast and lively he is, hes definitely not intended to move that fast. Perhaps a 15v could work. I'll keep using the 24v as I usually only turn him on for my 3yo nephew who loves Tubey. Other than that, hes great, and has been sitting on my desk for over 2 years!

This is the greatest thing ever! But I wish you could choose the color since the blue, yellow, and green don't include blowers.

Loved the idea and fell for the promotional videos, especially reading how much better 2.0 performed compared to the original. I bought three of the 2.0 versions and both the faces and colors add-on packs. Tubey The Tubeman 2.0 is super cute, but… - he gets stuck in under 30 seconds without fail - the rubber legs on the base come off far too easily and are incredibly bouncy. Just sliding it a few inches to reposition it in a desk can be enough. Good times getting on your hands and knees to find which alternate universe it bounced into, yet… - the rubber legs on the base are incredibly difficult to get back in. Like, you’ll question any mechanical skills you thought you had while you fight to twist this thing for 10 seconds. - are much louder than they need to be. I have quadcopter-style mini-drones with higher rpms fans than these have, yet are much quieter. Plenty of room in the base for some noise-reducing materials. Power-on more than one, and someone you love will probably yell at you about the noise. I bought these as fun office-background items while on zoom calls, but the fan noise + plus the 100% chance they’ll get stuck, killed that dream. Real cool piece to have at your desk when everyone around you is freaking out about something. Start up Tubey and all your troubles will flail away. Had issue at first but Tubey's great customer service got me a larger power supply needed and now it flails like crazy. Its is at the upper threshold of noise but it worth it. Would recommend

This little guy stood on our front porch yesterday and announced my 50th birthday. I’m still a kid at heart. I find Tubey works very well inside or outside. A little breeze does help him dance a bit better though. Very whimsical and a bit of fun to enjoy with passers by.
