## Description

As the only all-British built Mach 2 plus capable fighter aircraft, the English Electric Lightning occupies a unique place in aviation history and remains one of the finest achievements of the British aviation industry. Possessing incredible performance, this Cold War warrior entered service in 1960 and became Britain’s primary interceptor for the following two decades.

I loved this kit. Never built this one from airfix. Very easy to build. Very professional looking. Parts all went together great. Great details inside and out. Decals went on good.

This is a great kit of a classic aircraft and goes together well although the fit is tight due to modern moulding it`s wise to make sure you sand of the mould seams on the joins.The only tiny gripe is that I wish all the kit makers not keep doing the same old decals for "popular airframes".
