These two batteries appear to be good quality. They last well and don't take forever to charge but that might be the charger I bought. There have been no signs of them getting hot when charging and my confidence in them increases each day. They were bought to replace a smaller capacity battery which fit in a fairly tight hole. I was worried these might not fit but they did. So same size but bigger capacity and longer lasting.

These were great value for money but that’s where it ends unfortunately. My first one ran out of charge very very quick so I made sure the other one was truly changed, this also did not hold the charge very well either and I’m only using it for a small portable speaker. Maybe I just got dud ones so keep all your packaged until you’ve tried them. Mine were only fit for the bin

I discharged the battery to 3.3v basically 0% charge and then charged it to 100% - I only got 931mah This charger takes the charging efficiency loss into account which is normally 10-20%

Bought for 'Radiwow' radio that had terrible battery life. This was a slight improvement over stock battery.

I originally mistakenly posted this review on a pair of BL-5B batteries from another seller (these BL-5C), purchased a couple of days apart, I have edited other review, and here post review for this seller, I seem to have the same problems as other buyers. Got two of these yesterday for use in Kitsound Boombox+ bluetooth speaker. Tried both today, and are now both destined for the battery recyle bag. First one had open circuit voltage of 3.85v, worked OK but refuses to charge at all. With USB charge lead via a USB volt/amp/watt meter, consuming 0 current at all despite playing audio in BoomBox+ soundbar, and no charge light. The other measured 0.21v open circuit, and via same USB volt/amp mater consumed 0 amps on charge. When Lithium battery voltage level falls below some level, they will often refuse to charge, solution is normally to trickle charge for maybe 12 hours via a computer or Laptop USB 2.0 [not 3.0] connector which has limited current output, and then to retry normal charge when battery starts to accept current again. Sadly, this 2nd dud battery is un-savable. So, 1 battery will work until flat and then never be of any further use, the other is of no use at all. No I would not purchase these batteries again.
