If your looking to improve your speed reading, or just "new" to the style, this is definitely a book you must pick up. The author does a wonderful job at outlining how you can start speed reading and offers some great tips and tricks to improve the skill. A great book if your looking to read 10x as many books!

It's the information age. You're ability to access, organize and absorb information is key to success in almost any profession. What are you waiting for, get this book, read it, do the exercises, improve your reading speed and comprehension. In this day and age, how could you not take advantage of this type of training?

Don't waste your time or dollars on this book. The history mentioned by reviewers amounts to two parts, one having to do with the military and the second with Evelyn Wood and the purchase of her course. Some history! The book spends time on important things like eliminating distractions and other obvious issues when reading anything. There is a surface coverage of some of the methods of Speed Reading and these are repeated a number of times to expand the length of the book. Bet is that it amounts to some person generating an ebook and getting it out there to generate a few quick dollars while having "friends" write glowing reviews. I seldom write reviews so you have been warned.

I love reading and the information presented in this book is going to be so much valuable as i increase the count of books read . The good thing is these are techniques we can pass down to our kids and get them good at reading too pretty quickly. good read.

I was expecting a more thorough read for a beginners speed reading book. The title should read: Speed Reading for People Who Are COMPLETELY NEW to Speed Reading.Although there's nothing new here, it doesn't mean you shouldn't read this book. If you want to get better at something, keep devouring material related to that subject and practice what you learn.Who knows? Maybe you're a committed speed reader. That's great! There might be something in this ebook that could still help you. Maybe something worded in a different light?

Not too find of all the hand gestures but overall, glad I read this short guide. The bootcamp will definitely help with learning to read faster.

The tips and techniques shared in Speed Reading For Beginners give you, especially beginners, easy to grasp and action strategies to not only improve your speed of reading and comprehension but helps improve your enjoyment of reading. My daughters and I enjoyed doing the speed writing test and comparing result. Useful book for anyone who spends vast amounts of time reading for working and pleasure.
