Good for when you need the kids to be quiet for a while. Mesmerised

I really like this short movie. It's just amusing me that people are getting so mad over the fact it's only seven minutes long. It's only a short, made to show in front of the new Cinderella, so, yeah, it's not long at all, but it's a nice little continuation to develop Elsa and Anna's newly reformed relationship. Disney still put a lot of effort into making it for us, so £1.99 is an acceptable price, I think. Stop freaking out. Before you buy, try reading the description??

I'm afraid that I'm going to have to give this one 3 stars. Primarily because it's just too short, and is not original enough to make up for it.Yes, it's cheap, but on a minute for minute basis it's not especially good value. It's 7 minutes long. Including the credits. For about the same money you can get 25 minutes of Anime, and only a little more will get you a 45 minutes long episode from a live action TV show.So, what do you actually get for your money?You get a 5 minute long song from Elsa. It's pretty good for an animated short. The music is professionally done, and the singing is good. But it's not especially catchy or memorable. It's the kind of song that you'd find in the deleted scenes section of the DVD, rather than in the main feature. It's miles better than most songs from straight to video productions, but it's not quite up to the standard set by the original movie.You also get about 2 minutes of wacky slapstick from the Olaf, Sven and kristoff. This is pretty standard animated short slapstick. Not particularly good, but also not particularly bad. Strictly Meh. No character building or real story to it. Just slapstick.The animation is mixed.On one hand they use the same CGI models are the original movie. It's crisp and fluid. The characters are very expressive, and are professionally animated. It looks pretty similar to the original movie, and you'd need to look closely to tell the difference.The backgrounds are another story. While they are using the same GCI models as the original they seem much more static than before. Light and shadows don't flow so well, and the camera pans are less dramatic. In a couple of scenes it's almost as if they've taken a static shot form the original movie and have animated character against it. Animating 3D characters on a 2D background.With that out of the way I don't regret buying it. It was an interesting distraction. The characters are both cute and funny, the song is sweet, and they've kept Olaf's dialog to a minimum which is nice. There's also a really funny cameo by Hans. It's a puerile joke, but it's very apt and was a nice addition.If you're a Frozen fan then you'll probably appreciate this short, but it's more for the children than for the adult fans.If you're not a big fan, then maybe wait until you get one of those free trials or gift certificates, or for it to be made available as a bonus feature on another movie.Children will love it, but may be disappointed by how short it is.

I did not realise it was a song as it was in the film section! £1.99 to listen to a song was not just a Appalling but also upset my six-year-old granddaughter as I couldn’t afford £20 to rent a film. I am not impressed at all.

My daughter loves Frozen, and for her birthday asked for 'Frozen Lego' - I quickly realised the set we'd bought was actually linked to this dvd and not the main film so we bought this to go with it for £3.It's a lovely little 'short' about 7 minutes long - and she loves it :) It's in good keeping with the full length film and its characters, recommended for any Frozen fan!(Um, parents - you may want to know that it plays automatically on loop unless you leap in and stop it - and you can have too much of a good thing... ;) )

Die DVD kam hier zunächst leider irgendwie nicht an, oder meine Packstation war defekt.Nachdem ich die Benachrichtigung erhielt, dass die DVD wieder automatisch zurück gesendet worden war bekam ich ohne Probleme eine zweite Zustellung, die schnell da war. Bin sehr zufrieden, auch wenn es etwas gedauert hat. Top Kundenservice.
