Fits the Led light well. Well made.

This looks and fits fine. It's not thin tin. Its well painted to match the light and feels like aluminum. It's easily bendable and I did bend the bottom part to make it match the contour of the light fixture. I think it makes the light look nicer and does provide a bit of glare shielding. Where mine are located people will see them no matter what but at least they look a little more put together. They are kind of high priced considering it's just some cut and painted metal and they cost 1/3 what the light cost but it is what it is. The picture I included isn't all that great at showing it but best I had.

Fits perfectly on the gkoled 12w lights

I was thinking of 3D printing a glare shield, but since this product was available at a low price I thought I'd just go with the quality factory solution. I kind of regret this now, unlike the EXCELLENT light itself, this shield feels more like a few layers thick of aluminum foil, it's hard not to bend it out of shape while installing it. It does look nice and it's good enough.

I have 6 Gkoled lights in my garden. On 2 of them I added these shields. The 2 lights with the shield burned out within 9 months. The other 4 are still working fine almost 3 years later. I think the shield blocks the airflow off and around the light and maybe causes them to burn out early. Both of the lights went bad within a couple of weeks if each other. Had to have been the shields. Don't use these.

Great product!

I feel a little ripped-off after receiving these. Compared to the light itself, these are nowhere as sturdy as the light. They are very lightweight and cheap.

I too was surprised that it wasn't a little beefier, but the finish match is exact (as it should be). The stainless screws are nice and once the light fixture is in place, I expect it to last just fine even though it is "flimsy".
