Great set to try some Tokyo Milk perfumes!
I have wanted to try Tokyo Milk perfumes for a long time and when I saw this discovery set, I had to have it. I wish Tokyo Milk made more discovery scents for the rest of their collection. My reviews for each scent are below, though keep in mind that perfume plays differently on everyone's skin and everyone has a difference preference for scents. :) 10 Honey & The Moon (Notes: Sweet Honey, Sugared Violet, Jasmine, Sandalwood): If you love the scent of honey, get this! I am considering buying a full bottle after I finish this sample size. It smells exactly like honey, not too floral either. I do want to try layering this with other perfumes because I find the scent kind of simple and won't complicate the perfume with too many notes. 15 French Kiss (Notes: Mandarin, Tuberose, Gardenia, Vetiver): It is a nice floral perfume. I'm more into gourmand or fruity florals than a perfume consisting of mostly florals, but I do like these florals so if you also like the same flowers you may enjoy this perfume. 12 Gin & Rosewater (Notes: Citrus Zest, Rosewood, Mimosa, Mandarin): I was expecting a citrus and rose scent perfume, but the rosewood is overpowered by all the citrus scents in this perfume. I don't detect rose from the rosewood at all. Maybe rosewood is very weak on my skin. I do love citrus so I don't mind missing the rose note. 09 Kabuki (Notes: Lychee, Sugared Grapefruit, Sweet Jasmine, Warm Vanilla): This is the most interesting and unique perfume for me. Maybe I haven't smelled lychee that much in perfumes. The lychee is very sweet and candy-like smelling. Then I can't pinpoint what, but I think the sugared grapefruit kind of tones the lychee sweetness down for me and almost gives it a powdery/medicinal smell on my skin? Not what I expected grapefruit to smell like. I can't decide if I love this perfume or I love how unique it is from the rest of my collection. 06 Dead Sexy (Notes: Deep Vanilla, Exotic Wood, White Orchid, Ebony): This is the first perfume I saw from Tokyo Milk when I discovered them and had higher hopes for it, but it smell on my skin as I expected. For all other perfumes in this collection, I typically pick up the notes in the order they are written in the box, but for Dead Sexy I smelled the Vanilla at the very end. I also expected to smell the Vanilla throughout the perfume, but I can only smell it at the end. I'm not sure if the woods are overpowering or the vanilla doesn't appear until later. I have tried other perfumes focusing on woods, so it may just be my skin makes wood scents very strong. This perfume comes off very strong, smoky, and woody on me. I've played violin and I expected "woody" to smell like a wooden instrument or the wood of a pencil, but it smells very smoky on me, too strong and masculine. I can see this as a unisex and even masculine perfume, but really I think all perfume is unisex if you love it. When the vanilla comes out, I love it. I personally wish the woods would be toned down and the vanilla amped up on my skin, because I would buy it for the vanilla scent. It ends in a soft, delicious scent. I understand why some people in the reviews that don't typically love floral, or sweet perfume that is marketed toward women would love this. If you are into more masculine leaning and heavy scents, this may one you want to try! 11 Let Them Eat Cake (Notes: Sugar Cane, Coconut Milk, White Musk): I loved this perfume more than Dead Sexy, but sweets are more to my taste than a heavy, smoky, and slightly choking me perfume (though maybe I have a sensitivity to scents). If you don't like sweets it may be too sweet, and the sugar cane is really making it sweet. I do wonder if pairing this with Dead Sexy would make Dead Sexy more comfortable for me to wear.

Nice selection of fragrances, generous trial sizes.
I love these fragrances and this was a great way to try six different ones without committing to a full-size bottle. Included bottles are generously sized, much bigger than standard sample sizes. All the fragrances are interesting and I like them, I’m not sure about their lasting power, and it would be nice to have the ability to spray a fine mist. The application of the product is not as easy as it would be with any kind of spray or even a roller ball. You just opened the bottle and there’s liquid fragrance inside so you have to be careful not to pour out too much. I think I would like these fragrances and some sort of oil suspension with a roller ball more, for an eau de parfum I feel they’re lasting power is not as good as I would have expected. More like an eau de toilette. Still a nice way to try the different fragrances and this brand is definitely interesting unique. Just would also make a nice gift. The bottles are attractive and have unique graphic design.

To die for
Let them eat cake smells like a bakery, I absolutely love it. And the Gin & Rosewater literally smells like that- I was obsessed.. but had to make sure not to wear it at work lol

Most are hits, but a few misses.
My favorite scents are, in order, : Savage Belle, Dead Sexy, Let Them Eat Cake, and Gin & Rosewater. I waver on Kabuki because when I dab it on my skin, the first note is a peculiar plastic bottle like odor, and I really don't like it. However, after a few hours, it mellows and becomes very pleasant. Gin & Rosewater, as several customers have commented, has similar problem. I had expected Gin and Rosewater to carry a juniper note, since gin is traditionally flavored with juniper berries, but it's actually alcoholic smelling. It too mellows after a few hours on the skin. The one scent I don't like is Honey & The Moon because it is overpoweringly smelling of honey to the point where it's really cloying.

For a more sophisticated individual... Not myself
Disappointed, smells alright, but damaged... Can't return or get a replacement. Definitely get the hints of more mature, more business professional, not your regular fun and flirty perfumes. The box wreaks of honey because that's the one that came broken. The other scents were nice, the bottles are cute, nice sized, but all in all disappointed..
