I purchased these for a few rod holders that I was installing on my kayak. High quality and an outstanding design. I will be purchasing a few other products from Yakattack since I am impressed with their products

Works perfectly!
The backing plate makes the installation super confidence inspiring. I got two of these to position some gear closer to my seat and they have done the trick exactly as expected! Stable and easy to install.I’m particularly picky and added some watertight silicone to the bolts to make sure it’s good and snug but I don’t feel like that was a necessary step by any means!

Flexible and very secure mount system
I used to mount a paddle holder to the console of a Wilderness Systems Pungo kayak. The console is much thinner material than the kayak, so the backplate on this mount works very well. Easy to install. Very secure.

Exactly the mounting plate I needed
The media could not be loaded. This base plate was everything that I was looking for. Was super exciting that it came with the backing plate so that I could make sure it was securely to the kayak and wouldn't have to worry about a big fish pulling it out.It was super easy to install by placing the top plate where you want it and drilling your holes out, I used a 3/16 drill bit so I could thread the whole with the screw to help hold it on better. After that hold the backing plate on the inside of the kayak and tighten it all together with the screws.The yakattack base fits on it easily and you can switch between all there accessories. I will be using them mostly for my fish finder mount and rod holders.Would highly recommend this product to be on your kayak for all your yakattack accessories!

Good product. Looks sturdy. Easy to mount.
Delivered on time in good packaging. Looks to be very rugged and the screws look to be made of steel with a good casting of black paint. I mounted mine to the center of my Yak for a Garmin fish finder use a yak attack swivel mount. Seems very sturdy so far. I worried that the plastic may be to flimsy, but it looks to be very tough.

Missing parts... Again.
The yak attack product is a good bit of kit but it's missing the lock nuts on the backing plate. This is the second time I've ordered something from JMG Outdoors via Amazon and both times the yak attack products were missing parts. And they say lightning doesn't strike twice...I will be ordering directly from yak attack for any of their products in the future.5 stars for the product0 stars for JMG Outdoors order fulfillmentI'll give it 3 stars for the fact I received the products and was refunded by JMG Outdoors for the yak attack the rod holder which I got to keep. Whether I'm refunded for the mighty Mount or not still wouldn't persuade me to order from this company again.
