Spelling You See Level B: Jack and Jill Instructor's Handbook

I have been homeschooling my kids for almost a decade and this is the first time we have used spelling u see. We are extremely impressed with this program and notice our daughter is picking up spelling fast. She loves doing her workbook and often does two lessons a day because she wants to keep going. I love that the lessons are short and not overwhelming. Our older kids have level D and LOVE it as well. All my kids have different learning styles and are very different yet all love this program!

This program is a fun, easy, no preparation, spelling program to complement the school work already done. I was struggling with spelling programs for over a year. My 7-year old is a kinetic child (full of energy) and boring word-list and dictation programs don't work for him. I bought Horizon's, All About Spelling's and even off the shelf programs and all were word-list, dictation programs that did not work for my child and are now taking up space on my shelfs and collecting dust! I was skeptical about SpellinYouSee but given its great reputation and the many Youtube positive reviews I saw, I decided to give it a shot. My son doesn't cry anymore when it is time to learn to spell, enjoys it, looks forward to it!! He is on level B which is about nursery rhymes and he loves it, spells it and enjoys it!!!

I tried the curriculum w/o the teacher's handbook to begin with, but quickly saw that it would be helpful for the spelling words that you have each day. Love the curriculum, by the way.

I think what I enjoy most about this program is the ease of use in actually using with your student/child in a very basic non-time consuming way. It's not some huge overly directive teacher's manual either. (Sigh of relief) It's neither confusing nor do you have to pick and choose what to use in the book. (Double sigh of relief) It's a daily lesson sort of program already dilieniated for you, and easily used and understood daily by teachers and the students you use then with as well. Super pleased with this program as well as the teacher's manual to use along with it to instruct your student in an easily used and understood way!
