These went perfectly with my twins pebbles and bam bam flinstones halloween costumes. The weather was just the right temperature for these to be the only thing they needed to wear to keep warm while trick or treating. Which was what I was hoping for and why I bought these in the first place; to make sure their costumes weren’t covered up by a jacket or bulky coat.They aren’t made up super heavy material and they arent too thin either. They’re just right. They’re kind of sliky and very smooth to the touch. Very stretchy and durable fabric. Not a lot of choices out there for black turtlenecks, so took a chance and bought this with black pants from same maker/seller (so they would match) and was very pleased. They do run about a size small, so be sure to order 1 size larger than what you usually do. My son wears size 12 months, and the 18 months fit him perfectly. It fits roomy in the arms, and that's better for us as our baby is a chubby boy! The torso length and fit around the neck are perfect, with not much room to spare (which is why the 1 size bigger is needed). I would say the material is about the same quality as Carters bodysuits. Same thickness/feel and stretchiness.I've washed this twice and it has faded a little faster than I would have expected, but for this time of year, its only going to be used as an undershirt, after it serves its purpose as part of a Halloween costume. The fading isn't significant, but you can tell its not as rich of a color anymore. I would assume its only going to fade more with more washes, but then again, baby clothes aren't made to last. They're only in them for a couple of months before they out grow them, so I'm not concerned over the fading.
