Q: Will fit a 85' mazda rx7?

It's a universal so it won't be a direct fit. I have a 95 G20 and it has more curve to the design. Using plasti-weld (JB weld's plastic version) to fill the gaps and wrap with your choice of fabric and it will look fine.

This pod is universal it does not come made to fit a specific pillar and will need to be modified in order to fit.

Yes, this pod will angled to the driver as its a left hand pod.

Q: What is the maximum tilt tolerance angle of the A-pillar beyond which the gauges are not viewable?

Depends on the type of gauge, the face of the gauges tilt about 80 degrees from the surface of the A- pillar.
