NeoSport 5mm Mens Neoprene Backzip Jumpsuits-Black/Blue-X-Small

Great wetsuit for the price. Thick enough for 50 degree water.
I recently purchased this wetsuit for use while abalone diving on the Northern California coastline. Having never been diving until recently, I wasn't interested in spending a ton of money on an expensive suit that I wasn't certain I would use very often.Based on the price and the decent reviews I went with the Neosport brand for the wetsuit, gloves, hood and boots. I couldn't be more pleased than I am with the products. The wetsuit is well constructed with sturdy seams. The zipper works very well and forms a nice tight seal. Fairly good fit around the neck, with just enough room to simultaneously wear a hood for added warmth. Foot and hand openings are snug, but gave little resistance while donning the suit. From start to finish it took me maybe 3 minutes to put the wet suit on.There is a very small amount of padding on the knees, although it is not nearly as much as on the more expensive suits. This hasn't turned out to be a big problem for me so far, as I haven't done much kneeling on them or crawling across many abrasive rocks. As to the thickness, I spent 90 minutes to two hours on consecutive days in 45-50 degree water with this suit without any problem. And this coming from a guy that hates cold water. I started to get cold at the end, but that is to be expected in water that cold for that long.In all, I am very happy with my Neosport wetsuit. it worked very well the first few times that I have used it and I have no reason to think that it won't last for many more.

Nice to have my own wetsuit finally!
I am naturally hot-blooded so despite the dive shop telling me to get a 7mm, this 5mm overheats me just fine in 60 or less degrees Fahrenheit water. By the time I'm geared up & make it in the water on a shore dive, I'm boiling hot. I am 5'10", 170 lbs, the suit is a little loose in the areas that count. A certain plus for me using a size "Large." Seams look great, sewn with heavy duty thread and glued for extra support. If you want it to last, rinse directly after an ocean dive, give it another spritz of fresh water when home, hang dry and do not leave in your garage especially if you live in Southern California!

Recommended.
This is a reasonable suit for the price. Seams appear well sewn but are not taped (except some "dots" in a few locations). Zipper has worked OK. As compared to concerns about another suit from this manufacturer, this did appear to be a full 5mm thickness. The medium fit me well (5'10" 155#). I suspect this will last quite a few years given the limited amount of diving that I do. Recommended.

Great Quality 5mm Wet Suit
I was getting cold toward the end of my dives in my 3/2 mm during Fall / Winter temps in Maui, so I got this to see if it would help, and it does. The fit is good and is actually easier to don / doff than my 3/2, maybe because it is a little more rigid. But it is still Cadillac comfortable. I do not get cold toward the end of my dives like I did with the 3/2 and I stay comfortable throughout each dive. The price is incredible for a wet suit of this quality. The only downside is that I needed to add an 4 extra lbs. of lead to my kit to keep me from getting light at the end of the dive. I'm hoping that with use, I can get shave that down a bit too. Overall, I'm a happy camper. I would recommend this suit.

Sturdy build, watch the sizing!
I like the style and it feels sturdy, but I bought the wrong size. I am 6'0" and 175lbs soaking wet. I bought a medium and it restricted my movement too much and was choking me as well. I would recommend that anyone looking to buy this base the sizing primarily off of their height. I have a large replacement on the way and will review that one separately once I get a chance to use it!If the manufacturer is reading this, I would suggest making sizes such as Medium-Long for twigs like me.////Update:I got the large and was able to try it out. For scuba, it works great. Free diving: not so much. Ignoring the added buoyancy (expected from a 5mm), I was literally swimming in the suit. The large was made for my height, but for someone with more meat on their bones. I could feel the water moving around between my skin and the suit which also caused some heat loss. If you are a 6'0" / 175lb twig like me, look for a suit with a medium-long size. Don't get this one.

Dredging suit
I spent a lot of time looking for a durable and warm wetsuit. I wanted to try this out since it was affordable and I have to say that I'm impressed with it! Although this suit won't keep you DRY, water gets in and your body warms up the water between the suit and skin so therefore, keeping you warm. After spending about 10 full days dredging in a river, it is holding up very good. The only compliant I have is that it is very hard to get out of this suit but I guess you'll find that with any wetsuit out there. Sizing was on point as well. Thanks Amazon and NeoSport!

Good value for the nice/comfortable suit
For 6', 200lb male, it is comfortable fit with some room.Especially the length of arms/legs is definitely longer than necessary.I did not like my old wetsuit with very precise, sometimes tight fit, so I am pleased with extra comfort. The room may not be ideal for some, but free/scuba diving in Northern Cal, it does the job at reasonable cost.

It works in 48 degree water and it's worth the money
This wetsuit is amazing, espcially for the price...It works perfectly.....I didnt believe wetsuit could keep you warm until I tried it and was blown away......I used it in 48 degree water and was shocked how warm I was, freezing icy cold water now felt like swimming pool....... I went jet skiing and it was 45 degrees outside but I was warm the entire time and flying by fishing boats and all of them were bundled up with coats, hoodies, etc......They were looking at me in shock like your not cold.....Nope lol, get the boots and gloves too....Thanks for extending my jet ski season!!!!!
