Shredder Lubricant Sheets - 24 Sheets Per Pack

For those of use who either can't find the lubricant oil when we buy a new shredder or can't find the instructions when they buy or finally find the lubricant oil, this product is essential. I just tuck the whole package in one of my bookcases and can always find it. The sheets are easy to use, the directions are printed on the package and the individual sheets -- just run through the shredder and, once through, run the shredder in reverse for 10 seconds. I have to admit I don't pay much attention to the shredder most of the time, but I use one of the sheets whenever the shredder sounds like it is running a little sluggish. These lubricant sheets have kept my Amazon Baiscs micro-cut shredder running great for seven years now, so I will always have a pack on hand. This seller has had a coupon for half price every time I have looked at the listing, so even though the price looks to be higher than others, it is competitive with the other lubricant sheets out there.

If you want to save your paper shredder, I recommend that you use these lubricated sheets. They are a clean and effective way to keep your shredder working for a long time. Every time you empty your shredder, just pop one of the sheets in it, and it's ready to go. These sheets last me more than a year, so it's a really good investment, unless you want to buy a shredder every year. The alternative to these sheets is a bottle of lubricating oil. I find this very messy, as it spills on my hands and on the shredder and sometimes on the floor. Bottom line, buy the sheets and use them. You'll be happy you did.

As far as I can tell these are working perfectly. There are some reviews saying that these are nothing more than some vegetable oil in between two sheets. That could very well be true. The fact is though, what you're paying for here is conveniece. These being easy to use and store makes it more likely you will use them and therefore more likely your shredder will last longer. If a few extra dollars means my shredder will last 2 times longer I think it is worth it.

A package of this brand came with my Fellowes shredder. The lubricant seems to be stronger and does a better, longer lasting job than Office Depot lubricant sheets. I could definitely tell the difference. I want to use the best product to keep my expensive shredder running at optimal performance.

I hadn't been using them in my shredder like I was supposed to, and suddenly one day, it started getting gummed up with paper and jamming. I would clean it, try again, and again it would jam up. I ordered the cleaning sheets, ran two through (with some reversing as instructed), and the shredder started working again. It was still a little slow, so I ran a couple more sheets through, and now my shredder is staying clean and working just like new.

These lube sheets are essential to the smooth operation of your GoECOlife shredder, and it's a good idea to have 'em on hand. I use one every two weeks or so and my shredder runs smooth as silk. If these lube sheets weren't available I'd have to use 3-in-1 oil to keep my shredder blades lubed ... far messier and less convenient than slipping one of these sheets in the shredder. Get these. Trust me, you need 'em.
