Bottles arrived in perfect condition in a huge, well-packed box. Will love storing kombucha and coffee in these so I can grab and go. Will report back on any leaks or storage issues. Am very happy, though!FYI: Called Wheaton and spoke to their tech department to make sure the lids were food safe. They are!Update: 7/1/17 - Just took the bottles out of the dishwasher and they're fine. Hand-washed the tops with damp sponge and...they're garbage. Laminated "pulp" paper. Saturated and curled up with the slightest wetness. The reviews in 2014 were right about the lids, and nothing has changed. You'd do better Googling "French square" and ordering bottles and lids from one of the real bottle suppliers with multiple lid choices. Quite disappointed.Update: 7/8/17 - Okay, to keep things honest, I took the liner out of a lid, filled the bottle with water and stored it upside down for four hours. No leaks. I poured some of my fizzy kombucha in this container and stored it for a few days. No cracks in the lid or leaks. The bottles work for what I want them for, and the lids (once the liners are removed) are sound. Whether juice or kombucha, they'll do well for you. Note: the square bottles won't fit in most auto cup holders.

I am using these for juicing and love them. 8 oz is the perfect size for a serving of juice. I like that they fit nicely in the refrigerator and saves a lot of space. The bottle cover has a cardboard lining inside which is attached by glue. I wish they would leave the cardboard and glue out, then I would give this item 5 stars.Shipping was excellent. When the bottles are not in use, I store them in the box that it came in because it has nice dividers.

I'm very happy with these square, flat-sided jars. The quality is good for the cost, which I considered quite reasonable. I've used them to make a number of ferrofluid displays for myself and friends, and everyone has been happy to receive them. My order arrived on time and in perfect condition so I have no complaints.

Love these bottles. Use for juicing and other food storage. Only thing is that two were broken when they arrived.

Great bottle. I use for smoothies. Only problem is that the lid is lined and as soon as you wash it, the lining falls off but the glue doesn't. It's quite a job to get the glue off. Other than that, great bottle.

I love these little bottles! I had a little project of collecting seeds for awhile and they worked fantastic for that.

Worlds to store fresh squeezed vegetable juice. Creates decent "suction" on closing, with none of the issues I had with the canning jars (ie rusty lids, on re-use, or missing or broken gaskets).

I purchased these to place my home made Kombucha. They are perfect size and the plastic lids help since it's best not to have metal with Kombucha. I'd recommend these.
