It’s a great trolling motor with phenomenal speed control, but the transom bracket seems to be fairly cheap and does not clamp securely in my experience. I’ll be trying a rubber pad under it on my next outing to see if that helps

Bought this to use on a lake in Finland, to replace our aging Mercury model. This is very solidly built. The shaft in retrospect might be a little too long for our small timber boat (which sometimes makes it a little awkward to maneuver quickly when approaching shore), but that's not fault of the motor. The clamp is especially robust (unlike that of our previous electric), and the adjustable tiller handle makes for comfortable steering.

finding it very good and works well would recommend it to anyone needing an outboard motor and if needed would probably purchase another in the far future
