Leed Bd&c Mock Exam: Questions, Answers, and Explanations: A Must-Have for the Leed AP Bd+c Exam, Green Building Leed Certification, and Su Review: This book needs to be edited BAD!!!!! - This book is riddled with mistakes. On numerous occasions, the question will ask to (choose 3) answers and when you flip to the answer legend it only shows 2 answers. That is pretty bad when you have trick you brain into guessing a wrong answer. My favorite is question 127: Which of the following statements is not true with regard to SSc4.1: Alternative Transportation : Public Transportation Access? (Choose 3) a. A project team can achieve 4 points for NC, CS, and Schools b. A project team can achieve 4 points for NC and CS, 6 points for Schools c. A project team can achieve 6 points for NC and CS, 4 points for Schools d. None of the above So... if I choose ABC that means all of them are not true, so D is a correct too, but if I chose ABE like the answer key says, then it means none of the above are true, so again the answer is ABCD. Gang needs to get someone to read over his material before he sends it to print. It really makes me doubt the entire validity of the book. Review: No longer applicable - This book is no longer applicable for the LEED 2009 exam. It was written for LEED 2.0 and he did not change the questions to reflect the changes for LEED 2009. Some of the credits have been split up, deleted, new ones were created, and so some of the questions either don't apply or the indicated answer is no longer correct. This was okay for studying but be careful that you ensure which questions are no longer applicable.

Do Not Waste Your Study Time, Not even worried about your money!
I normally will not write a review, I let things slide, but it hurts me that I will let people waste their hard earned money in addition to their study time to buy this book. The questions are not at par with LEED standards, they are repetitive with minor changes, and what makes me even mad is that some of the answers to the questions are wrong. To keep it real, these are like you setting up your own questions and for which reason you don't even need this book. It is not helpful, and I get mad at the CHEAP questions. Please do not waste your time and money on this book!

Not even close!!
This book needs an awful lot of work!! The questions are not descriptive of the ones in the actual exam. Not even close, either in their structure nor their format. I Bought this book on faith, only to be painfully disappointed on the first page. The author may be knowledgeable enough to pass the exam but, obviously needs to spend more time in designing questions(and answers)that mirror the actual exam.

A Valuable Tool -Information is up to date (LEED 3.0).
I had bought various books published by a third party are available on Amazon. However, most of them are not very helpful. (Some even have outdated info, so be careful). I came across one of Gang Chen's books when I was studying for my LEED GA exams and found it to be THE most important resource that I have found; and because of that, I made it a point to look more into his works as I move onto the next step of the exams. This book contains 200 mock exam questions based on LEED version 3.0 (with dedicated chapters for examinees FAQ's and sound advice). You should have read other references before jumping into the mock exam found on this book. I found the questions challenging & is a good way to measure how prepared you are for the exam & to know which categories you would need to study more on. There are explanations for the tricky ones, and it does help make the info sink in, compared to plainly memorizing facts from the guide book. The author even goes the extra mile by giving study tips, and other realistic & down to Earth advice on how to pass the exam. If I have to nitpick, I wish there were more questions for the mock exams, but this book should be used with other study materials and not the be all & end all study material before going for the exam. To all the examinees reading this, I wish you the best of luck as well!!

A Valuable Book!
The Green Building Certification Institute's LEED AP BD+C Exam have been developed to identify those professionals who have participated in the design and construction of energy efficient and environmentally sound buildings. This book consists of two complete practice examinations that mimic the actual tests used. Then the correct answers to the questions are given and finally there is a short discussion on each question as to why the correct answer is correct. This book should not be the first or the only book you use in preparation for the LEED AP BD+C Exam. First you should study the appropriate reference material, a list of which is given in the book. Then the sample exams can identify the areas in which you have trouble. I recommend this book to everybody that wants to pass the LEED exam with no worries.

Do not buy this
If you like questions that do not match the answer keys then this is the book for you. There are multiple repeated questions and questions that ask for you to "choose three" and the respective answer page gives only two answers. I don't think there was an editor used because there are so many blatant mistakes and in my opinion this is a waste of time and money. I mean is it so hard to have the question section match the answer pages? Don't make the same mistake that I did, buy something else.

Good Book
This is a very useful book. It provides general, entertaining, informative, educational and enlightening content about the LEED AP BD&C Exam and green Building LEED Certification. It not only has the LEED AP BD&C Mock Exam, but also has the answers and Explanations for the Mock Exam. Some of the answers have the detailed calculations to make the answers more understandable. Some of the questions are little bit hard. Hope the questions are very similar with the real exam. I have Mr. Chen's book for LEED Green Associate Exam and found it was very helpful. Hope this one is good as well.
