I think it can compete with Rawlings lace. Not a same but quality of the leather is very similar. The width is very slightly smaller than Tan Rawlings/Tanners lace which I have. (Not a big difference though.) Very satisfied with my purchase. It is highly recommended for those who want high-quality real leather laces for baseball glove.

These laces are as good as or better than the originals. My glove is over 10 years old and these laces make it like new.

Real leather lacing
Perfect for repairing my leagues catchers mitts. Don't bother with the spools of fake leather, this is the stuff! Laces were very uniform with no blemishes. I only wish they were more readily available and in more sizes.
