Redken Color Extend Graydiant Purple Shampoo | Hair Toner For Gray & Silver Hair | Tones & Strengthens Hair

The Redken Color Extent Graydiant Purple shampoo and its conditioner are both great products. Leaves my totally gray hair soft and a bright white. No yellows. I use mine every 2 weeks or so. In between I only rinse out my hair with a different conditioner. Note that both these products deposit a tiny bit of temporary color in your hair so they are quite colorful when you put a bit in your palm for hair washing. Once when I used it twice in a week I did have someone say they saw a tinge of blue in my hair while out in bright sun, but this has not been a problem when using it every other wash.Also, I do not use gloves when using these products and so far have not had any problem with colors transferring to my hands, nails, shower curtain or to my porcelain tub. Love this stuff.

I like this product a lot. I have grey hair and the shampoo has brightened my hair. Great scent. First time I tried a special shampoo for my newly grey hair and I will continue to buy. A little makes a lot of lather. I recommend.

You just can't beat Redken products! I have brown/grey mixed colors and live in a climate where I am in the sun, and at the beach almost daily. My hair is natural, with no color, but it was getting sort of orange looking highlights. Not only does this help to keep the orange away, but it makes my hair feel really nourished and not so dry. I have very wavy thick hair and this helps my curls be more natural. I use th shampoo and conditioner and think they work best together. I don't even use it every day and it still helps. It's worth the money!

This product does great things for my thin, gray and white hair.Gray and silver hair is not the same as natural hair. It's coarse and hard to tame at times. It also frizzes quite easily.With this shampoo, my coarse hair is now smoother and brighter, with no yellowy tones at all. It's also softer and styles easier as well.I had the opportunity to try a purple shampoo from Philip B and that was excellent stuff, but it's about $40.00 a bottle, so I can't really justify adding that to my budget. At this price point, the Redken works almost as well and it's about half the price.I will never be without this shampoo again.

My salt and pepper hair is very manageable after using this shampoo. My hair shines and has a pleasant scent. Even after using a curling iron when styling, my hair isn’t dry. I really recommend this shampoo.

I used Redken Shampoo for color treated hair and loved it. When I had my hair stripped and colored a very light silver gray I purchased the Redken Shampoo ad Conditioner for Gray and Silver Hair and have been very pleased. The shampoo is thick and cleans and rinses well. There has also been no yellowing of the hair so this is a perfect shampoo. I recommend highly.

Too expensive for a small bottle. I have seen absolutely no difference in my grey hair. Doesn’t suds well, unless you use a lot of it! I wouldn’t recommend and will be in search of another shampoo. Any suggestions?

I’ve been using Redken’s purple shampoo once a week for a few months now and will definitely buy it again. I am 9 months into growing out my natural color and was noticing the yellow tint in my silver strands before using this shampoo. This shampoo really lets the silver shine and also tones down the brassiness left by the dye before I stopped coloring. It is drying, so I use it with The Matrix So Silver Deep Conditioning Mask, which has kept my hair sufficiently moisturized. I also haven’t felt the need to use gloves when applying and it’s cleaned up just fine in our shower. Glad I gave this a try!
