**Q: These are the same as the thai tao? Like a pail stove that i could use a wok on top of or a tqo sided grill frate like they do overseas?**

**Q: Is this do-able using indoors in an existing fireplace w/chimney? Age 75, Looking for safe heat/cooking small tender; no charcoal.**
A: It's what they use over seas for this purpose and nothing this fancy you can see pretty quick if it's getting too smokey in the house but it's no different than having any other flame in your fireplace and since its a rocket stove type stove it will work fine ...my fireplace isn't too comfortable to sit at and cook but maybe yours is better

**Q: can this be used on a tabletop?**
A: Of course you can use it on a tabletop...if your worried put an old cookie sheet underneath and go to town ..not sure why the whole world has become to worried to live life anymore ..like cooking on a tailgate has become some seriously dangerous activity ..google how many truck fires have been caused by tailgating and as long as you didn't drink a whole 24 pack of beer and your being safe it will be fine

**Q: Can you use wood chips instead of charcoal ?**
A: Wood chips would probably burn too quickly to accomplish any cooking. It's designed for charcoal and will burn for quite a long time in order to finish cooking.
