I love this grill. I have one. My parents have one. As a matter of fact I love this grill so much that if my wife ever left me or died, I would marry this grill !!

Too expensive for what it is
Within 6 months the handles on doors had pitted! I had to get them replaced thru Weber doesn’t say much for the quality.

Since purchasing the grille I saw four others that were clearly better values. Being over-charged would not motivate me to write a review: Horrid customer service, however, did. The "800" line was not answered for an entire day but for a message machine. The first four (4) "agents" I spoke with were incomprehensible-- literally. When I landed a person I could understand, he told me that all of my "issues" were ones that WEBER would not address. Never in my experience have I been treated so rudely-- as though I was being dared to return the product. Sadly, I could not because my contractor cut a hole in it, but I vow I wouldn't accept a WEBER grille as a gift, let alone purchase one, in the future.

Great Purchase
This has been the best grill I have ever used. It went into the outdoor kitchen easily and having it hooked up to natural gas is very nice!

10 years old and still going strong
Great grill! We purchased this grill when building our house and had it installed in a covered patio kitchen area. It’s held up well being 10 years old. I replaced the flavorizer bars twice so far because they started to turn yellow and aren’t that easy to clean. I guess if we cleaned them every time we grilled they would’ve lasted longer but who has time for that?? I’ve also replace a few of the knobs - I called Weber and they sent out immediately for just a few dollars each. I’m about to call again to get new lights that attach to the handle. I don’t think about changing the batteries and when I opened the lights last night to get the batteries out, they were wet and rust was everywhere. The door handles are like a cheap painted plastic. I’m sure the fact that they are in a covered area has played a role in their decent shape, but I may see if I can get replacements for those as well. I just ordered a replacement cover but waiting til pollen season is over to use it. Cooking is great - temp gauge seems accurate, wood chip container works well for chips but won’t hold larger chunks very well. We can’t use the rotisserie because the built in counter is a bit too high. Keep that in mind when installing. Be sure to measure the distance between the rotisserie motor and the top of the counter to ensure enough room. We use the grill a few times a week since we got it and it’s held up well. It’s not a standard grill size so I hope they continue to sell it when we have to replace it!

Felt misled
Just received the BBQ and very disappointed to learn that it did not come with the console panels as per the picture. I did confirm that the correct BBQ was delivered but then noticed at the end of your description list you make mention that the island does not. I was in the market for a small outdoor kitchen and not just the BBQ so I remain disappointed.

A Weber by name only
Beware. This is grill does not live up to the Weber brand reputation. I purchased this grill as a built-in in the 2013 timeframe for my outdoor kitchen. I choose Weber among many other more expensive high-end "boutique" grills . The choice was not based on the lower price of the Weber but more on my personal history with Weber grills for reliably, resistance to corrosion and availability of parts. The first indication of a problem with support when Weber discontinued the cover soon after I bought it. I find it astounding that they still manufacture the S-660 model and do not make a cover for it. The grill is now at the point where all the gas valves have some degree malfunction and the steel components are a rusty mess. The rust is too extensive to even bother to attempt fixing the other issue so will need replacing. I'm now stuck replace the grill that had a custom build masonry enclosure/countertop surround it. I surely will look to another manufacture and hope I can find something that can be dropped in without too much re-work of the masonry. Yes, Its nearing 10 years old. but I've have other Weber's for far longer and rusting was never a problem. ...I expected better from them.
