Creative Beading Vol. 3

Have to admit that I love all of this series, and this is no exception. Nicely illustrated, beautifully photographed designs. Multiple design styles to suit a wide variety of mediums and designers alike. Excellently diagrammed which makes it a breeze to follow along. One of the special aspects that I love about these series is that they are in hardback! Like previously stated, when following along with the book, it lays nice and flat. Also the hardback gives it the extra "oomph", making it more professional and well protected for the future! Projects from many well known and respected jewelry designers. The pricing was a wonderful bonus ( purchased used), and arrived in basically pristine brand new condition! Shipping was fast as well. Only downside, is the designs within have all been previously published within their magazines. Although it is nice to have so many favorites located together intead of sifting through the past magazine issues, I REALLY wished they would instead publish a series using the same designers featured in their publications but with different designs!

While I was making decision to puchase between volume 3 and 4, due to the review from different consumers, I struggled. Based on the reviews, I bought volume 4. Afterward, it did not seem to meet my desire so I bought volume 3. I do not know why the review favor volume 4 over volume 3. There are a lot more interesting projects in volume 3 that will meet the needs of different kind of Jewlery making people. This book gives me a far better view of different areas that I could tackle into Jewlery making. Even if I choose not to get into those areas, it is still an eye opening expereience. I brought the book to my Jewlery making class and everyone found something they were interesting to try. I wish I had bought only volume 3 instead of both. I say this not that volume 4 is not as good, but some of the projects are too complicated for an beginner and too costly for someone who is just doing this for fun and personal pleasure. I hope other people will find this review to be useful and save their money from buying both.

I have all of these except Vol 2. I love these books! If you are not familiar, they give the very best instructions from the subscription Beads&Button Magazine for the entire calendar year. I have been a subscriber for years, and love to keep the magazines handy as well, but to have the very best of the ideas and instructions in one handy place is indispensable. The instructions are always quite clear and easy to follow, and you don't generally have to worry about not having or being able to get the particular beads needed. If nothing else, Fire Mountain will have what you need a a good price.

Worth the price. I have the whole collection. I can create my own ideas or make something from the book. Not sure if for beginners but definitely for experienced beaders.

I own creative beading vol 3-8 and this is one is one of my favorites. There are excellent project ideas and very clear instructions. Whether you're new to creative beading or have a bunch of the books like I do, this is definitely one to consider!!

i love the book, no problems with the books and i would love to buy again. step by step instructions, easy to learn the projects that are in the book.

Some very nice patterns. I have completed several with ease. Nice pictures and easy to read instructions. A definite positive addition to a beaders bookshelf.

All went as well as it could go with this order. No delay, item arrived in condition as described and I have no reason for complaint.

This book has great photos and instructions - easy to follow. Definately worth a read.
