These are expensive for what they are, but we love them. I WASHED my cover without reading and had to purchase another cover because it was absolutely DESTROYED.... even in cold gentle water. They are wipe down only. Strange material because it feels really sturdy. That being said I give it 5 stars because they are just so functional and cool. Very sturdy as well.

The chair is great. I will be buying 3 more once the stock is available. I would like to see one improvement: The assembly procedure is actually very easy but the assembly instruction that comes along with the product is confusing. I would like to have this option available: The dimension of this floor chair is 10 inches by 15 inches.In this dimension, the ankles of both feet are on the floor and not on the cushion. Hence to sit comfortably for a longer period of time, we want the ankles to rest on the mat, hence the dimensions are to be increased (18 inches?)

Handy chair for basic sitting exercises, yoga or others. They are reasonably comfortable (one would not want comfort first) and reasonably sturdy (although not made to do handstands on). They take the pressure off many sitting exercises for seniors or for those who are not by nature very flexible. The four stars instead of five is because they are a tad expensive.

My granddaughter's pre- school use these chairs for their students. I brought one for her birthday so she would get used to it before starting pre-school. I sat on it and found it to be very comfortable. I have back pain and sciatica and the hard meditation cushion I was using when meditating was not comfortable. Sometimes, I had to stop meditating due to discomforts. I ordered one for myself and have been using it for meditating. VERY COMFORTABLE. No pinching and digging as some people have mentioned. I am petite and weigh 132 lb.

The chair quality is rickety. A glamorized folding lawn chair perhaps. If not expecting more than this then it is fine. Since this purchase I found another floor chair I'm completely satisfied with. I only wanted a minimal legless back rest/support and the other chair functions for that perfectly. -I'm 5'5" & weigh 130lbs -I got the regular sized Back Jackto be used for meditation & occasional lounging on the floor -the metal tubing hits my back at the sides and shoulders and makes it very uncomfortable -it isn't sturdy and isn't very easy to fold either, not so convenient The description simply overstates it's construction very much. Communication with the seller has been completely a waste of time. I was told that I should never have thought it would be a massive chair. I was told that any problem was mine and they want to charge me double shipping plus restocking fees and also simply have cancelled my request for return altogether, blaming it on my lack of response though I have communicated on four different occassions, each time receiving argument, difraction and denial of any service. They also tagged all email dialogue with me as requiring their 'special sauce' using what appears to be some in-house labelling system which I found offensive and bizarre. They seem to have no motivation at all to be fair or even civil. The chair is disappointing at best.

I discovered the Back Jack Floor Chair at a meditation retreat and I can honestly say I wouldn't have made it through the many hours of sitting without it. When I got home I found I could approximate the benefits with a cheap stadium seat, but it just wasn't as good, so I ordered one of my own. I would make this a 4 or 5 star review if it weren't for the fact that I ordered a navy blue chair and received one that is obviously black (my zabuton is navy blue, hence the obviousness). Seems like too much of a hassle to return it since I don't care that much, but I think it's worth a rating reduction.

Works well for all ages

Purchased this as a gift for my husband because he likes to sit on the floor but needs support for his back. It does what it is supposed to and is comfortable enough. Depending on your height, the bar may hit the back of your head or neck but it is not horrible. It does not completely fold up so tucking it out of sight is not super easy but can be done. We have not had it for long so cannot comment on cleaning it or how long it holds up.
