Great for intermediate playersa
So far I am in love with this thing. I replaced the single locking rose licensed on my Ibanez RG270 and I am frankly amazed. No, its not going to perform like a $200.00 Floyd Rose. With that out of the way, I have been using it to play gigs on my RG, and have not gone out of tune very much at all. Yeah, if I grab that thing and shake the hell out of it, it will go out of tune, but wiggling it up and down lightly generally brings it back to within a tiny bit flat or sharp, but not completely unusable. I used to block all my Floyds because they were not useable in a live situation. I am impressed with the quality so far. Generally Chinese made metals are not durable at all. Bolts and nuts strip, stuff bends or breaks. I had an SKS I could drill with my black and decker drill bits years ago. That shouldn't of happened on a firearm. If you tighten things up on the Rose, use a gentle touch. Do not crank down on them. Keep it clean and oiled up good. I am really blown away that these are only $25.00. The trem that came on my RG270 was a piece of junk right out of the box. Putting this trem on it and upgrading the pickups I have a gig worthy guitar I only have $150.00 invested in. Great trem, highly recommend.

Nice product
Seems to be fairly well made, description doesn't include "post to post" measurements, so I took a chance. Did not fit my Ibanez RG120, really close, but would have to cut the body a little bit to fit. Not something I want to do to go from a chrome bridge to black. Too bad

It looks good and works well
I got this to replace a broken trem on my guitar and it fit just fine. I think it looks nice, as long as you are not looking too closely. Some of the fine tuning screws seem to get a little hung up and do not screw in or out well. I get around it by pressing on the actual piece it controls. Its cheap metal and I doubt its authenticity of being licensed. I may just have had not great luck, but for the price I doubt its just me. For the most part it works just fine, and I really do not have much in the way of complaints aside from the fine tuning screws. If you have a cheaper guitar to put it on, then maybe its fine. If you have a higher end guitar I would get a proper Floyd Rose if that's what your after. Putting it next to my real Floyd Rose (for a different guitar), I can tell you they are a world apart in quality.TL;DR It works fine, but its not great quality.

Seemed great at first...
This is my first time installing a floyd-rose type tremolo but definitely not my first time installing replacement bridges so all I needed to do was watch a few youtube videos covering installation and setup procedures. I know this will sound lame, but I do not own a router so I used a box cutter and a wood file to rout about 1/6in from the front of the body. Additional filing was needed to center the hardware to my neck properly. With the right measurements and patience, the setup pretty straight-forward. I opted to block the tremolo for dive bombing only, this also makes setup and intonation easier.The instrument pictured is the $90 Burning Flame guitar sold here on Amazon along with all hardware upgraded to my personal specifications. This already had a spring-loaded tremolo system so aforementioned hand routing and filing was needed to get this to fit properly. Once setup completed, I gave the whammy bar a workout and it kept tune very well. My only complaint is that the trem-arm is arduous to install. It must be positioned a certain way in order for the tightener to screw on properly.Bottom line: this is a great addition for your budget guitar but if you are not mechanically inclined, you may want to hire someone to install this for you; unless your instrument is already fitted for this type of device. This did not ship with instructions or a routing template so you will need to get that information (or eyeball it like I did) online. At this price point I am impressed with what is offered but do not expect the same quality as an ORIGINAL floyd rose.UPDATE: when tightening the locking nut the screws stripped. I had to rework it with new steel screws and bolts to get it to lock the strings down tightly. I have not had the bridge clamps break yet but I am guessing that is imminent. When my new Floyd Rose Special arrives, I will keep this as a spare.

Got WAY more than I paid for…AAA+++
Wow!!! I’m completely shocked and beside myself. I had purchased a tremolo system from another vendor about 6 weeks ago for about the same price. It was complete junk. Bad paint job; loose tuning screws; you name it. It was really bad. So, needless to say I didn’t hold out much hope for this tremolo system when I ordered it.Boy, was I to be surprised. If I didn’t know any better. Just by looking at and examining THIS tremolo system package. I would have guessed it cost upwards of around $80 to $100. At the very least. I’m truly shocked.The paint is really quite good with no visible issues of any kind. The tuning screws are all nice and firm. The string clamp screws are all tight with no slop or play. The pivot blades are secure and evenly distanced from the leading edge of the bridge with a nice even beveled edge. The whammy bar snugs up tight and isn’t loose at all. Even the locking nut screws are snug and work perfectly. The paint on the nut looks fantastic. Like I said. I would have had no problem believing this tremolo system to cost upwards of…$100..easily.In my opinion I got a fantastic deal for a tremolo system that should have cost easily five times as much as I paid for it. I would recommend this product to anyone looking for a quality tremolo at an amazing price, and that’s willing to take the chance that I did.You could also ask….did I just get lucky this time???? Who knows. Only future reviews will tell.Here’s wishing everyone the same luck that I had!!(-;
