The “egg” is easy to use and stylish! I’d have preferred the numbers at the top but the shape prevents that. Also, the ringer is not very loud and only rings for maybe 8 seconds or so… would have preferred longer! I can make this work as when I need it , I’m usually close by but this might be something to consider if one is using it for projects that need have an exact time frame!

Stainless steel timer which works easily and perfectly in an attractive, sturdy design. Much better value for the money, than the plastic ones you see all over the place. RECOMMEND

Visually appealing. Bought it to use as a prop. Stops ticking before ringing at 0 (sound is similar to old phone ring which I like). Timer ringing at 0 is very short, weak. After one or two uses, stopped altogether or very weak. Don't buy if you want a real egg timer that is accurate.

What a comfort to have a simple mechanical device that doesn't require a 6-page booklet, a multi-speed dial, a "short press", or a "long press". Turn the top to 55 to wind it, turn it back to the time you want, and wait for your selected time to tick down. It has a moderate volume ring (like a telephone once sounded) which is adequate inside the kitchen, but you won't hear it in other rooms. I do not hear it ticking unless I hold it up to my ear. It's heavy for its size and attractive -- true to its picture. Its predecessor was a little plastic egg-shaped timer that lasted for 27 years. I wonder if this one can match it.

LIke that its metal but could be louder when it rings. Unless I'm close by I cannot hear it.

I have sever ADHD. This nifty little timer helps keep me on task. Its small so you can tale it in another room and shiney so easy to spot. And as near as i can tell very accurate.

Could hardly hear the alarm it is very quiet

This is a great timer. Does exactly what it should.

The item works as specified and the timing accuracy is also acceptable. However, the quality of the product is poor and uses plastic gear wheels in the inside mechanism, which can break down at any time. Not worth for the money paid.

Bought one many years ago. Timer still works but alarm stopped functioning . Good timer hence bought 2 more that have functioning alarms . Great for timing different items on the grill. As for the first ones alarm. Nothing lasts for ever . Prevents the oops forgot to flip the steaks situation .

El temporizador suena solo algunas veces y cuando suena la alarma es demasiado baja, no se percibe el sonido ya que es muy corto y muy bajo
