I would recommend it
It is easy to use and the goats tolerate it well. I still have to finish with a little hand milking but that's not bad when most of the milking has been done with Udderly EZ. I use it for two goats every day.

Would not recommend for daily milking
We purchased and used two Udderly EZ milkers for our milk cow. We bought two thinking we could use them both at the same time and cut down the time it takes to milk. This did work for a couple months before the problems started. We just kept having parts break. The little rubber valves don't last too long and are expensive to replace. Both our handles broke within a short amount of time. These are also expensive to replace. The bottle clip on one broke, so we went down to using one pump with the working bottle clip. Then, the back part of the pump blew out. It was only connected by flimsy plastic clips and these just wore down and finally snapped off. So I duct taped the back of the pump on and this worked ok. Kept having to replace the duct tape though as it would lose tightness after a few washings. Then it got to the point where I could not tape it on tight enough to create the vacuum. We started using the other pump and the same thing happened to it. Now the whole setup is basically worthless as I am not forking over another $100 to replace the pump. This all happened within 4-6 months. I think these are neat little milkers, but probably should be used more for backup milking if power is out, or colostrum collection only. Their website states these milkers can be used for daily milking, but we have not found this to be the case. We could have bought a small bucket milker for the money we have put into the Udderly EZ. Would not recommend for daily milking. Oddly enough, I was most worried about having to replace bottles. We only lost one bottle during those 4-6 months. The bottle do seem to hold up well. Do your research before purchasing this product!! There are many others who have had problems based on different reviews on the web!

long term use not good.
We purchased this for occasional use. We run a small goat dairy. This is perfect for those times where the doe is in a pen & not wanting to allow newborn kids to suck & there is no electricity. We really love it. The problem comes from the plastic unit is not good for continuous use. We have had to re-glue the pump action part twice so far & it has been used occasionally. The company needs to make the pump out of stronger material. We hand milk & use an electric milker.

So far so good. Been milking one goat with it for about a month. Have not found anything as simple, cheap, or easy. Works great. One reviewer said it hasn't held up but ive only had mine for one month and only using it for one goat, twice a day, getting almost 3/4 gallon of milk. So if it last me six months to a year for under $200 ill consider that a success and buy another one.

Versatile and can be a literal lifesaver
I bought an Udderly-Ez hand milker several years ago in case we needed it to milk a newly foaled mare and thankfully never had to use it. I recently bought 2 Nigerian Dwarf does in milk. After an accident, I was having problems hand milking. The U-Ez milker (which is basically a breast pump for animals) works very well on my goats and has saved a lot of stress and strain on me and the goats. I have found that some clear plastic drinks bottles (Welch's juice blends, Bai 5 still drinks) are compatible with the thread on the milker which is a lot easier and cheaper than buying more of the expensive (though very nice) Udderly Ez bottles. Last week, I brought it over to a friend's house to collect mare colostrum from a first time foaling mare who would not let down her milk for the foal - so it does work for its original intended purpose!I am giving it 4 stars because I have my doubts that it will hold up to daily use in the long term and because I think the quoted price is overly high for what it is. I would suggest shopping around on the internet to see if there is a better deal
