They last a long time and sound great. I do wipe down my stings after playing and if humidity is high I spray a little WD40 on cloth to give back that slippery new feel. Less string breakage. In fact since I stop using E ball strings I haven't broke any

I worked for Ernie Ball in the early 80s. If you have a Stingray bass from that era and you pop the potentiometer/electronics plate off and you see the initials BAR, that's me. So usually use Slinkys since then. As a guitar player I go thru a lot of G-strings, lol yuk yuk. After playing the 10s, nickel I'm a convert. I'm down to three gits and a bass now, wish I had more or were still gigging because they all look interesting. Very satisfied with the quality, intonation aspect, all of it. Highly recommended IMHO.

I used to think that Ernie Ball Slinky strings were pretty much the basic standard for generic electric guitar purposes. That still might be the case, but D'Addarios are so prevalent everywhere that now I think it's kind of a toss-up. I have been using Elixir strings but I'm starting to think their higher cost isn't worth it, at least for electric strings (I still love Elixir strings for acoustic guitars though). And I have used stainless steel strings for electric guitars in the past and like them better than nickel strings except for the fact that they are noisier. So I bought this pack to serve the needs for just basic stringing of my guitars. They will easily fill that need.

I liked the fact they never break on me(knock knock), sound is superb and they are reasonably priced.

Sonido consistente y funcional

Voici le meilleur choix de cordes (pour moi - guitariste depuis 44 ans pour situer) pour ma guitare jazz Epiphone Joe Pass. Ça sonne jazz avec des cordes ni trop dures ni trop souples. L'équilibre est juste parfait au niveau des doigts, mais aussi au niveau de la dynamique dans les graves, les médiums et les aigus. Le sustain est également excellent. J'ai testé bon nombre de cordes plus chères et je ne note pas de différence de son telle que cela nécessite la différence de prix. D'Addario nous offre ici un plus qu'excellent rapport qualité-prix. Je ne peux donc que recommander très chaudement.
