Love this salt lamp, have had it for over 5 years now. It’s been incredibly durable and still works perfectly. The warm glow is so soothing and it looks beautiful in any room. Great value for money and would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a quality salt lamp

Been looking at these for a while, purely because I like the look of them and the warm tone they give off. I don't belief half the nonsense on the box about ions, helping breathing and blood flow etc, if it were true I'd imagine its at such a low level you'd never notice. That being said, it's a lovely lamp. It's of a good size and of high quality.....I mean it's a lump of salt rock, but the wooden base and electrical unit appears to be well made. Small bulb comes in the box also. Definitely adds a nice warm tone to the living room when it's on which is lovely, and itself causes a relaxing affect. Definitely worth buying but just be realistic if you're buying it for anymore more than it being a nice looking lamp.

So... dont necessarily 'follow the herd' if you think this lamp will transform your breathing... look at the science... physical benefits are 'anecdotal' at best... I am basing this review on the lamp itself... It's an attractive, well constructed lamp that gives off a very 'soothing' light'... It may seem dull to start with, but your eyes soon become accustomed to it... and, whilst my eyesight isn't 20/20, I was able to comfortably read in bed with it... In my opinion, this is definitely a 'bedside table' lamp... a great choice for children's rooms if they don't like the dark... As I mentioned, I do my reading in bed before I sleep and, because the light is gentle and soothing, I find it very easy to get to sleep when I put the book down... In a nutshell... No health benefits other than paving the way for a good night's sleep... but that benefit on its own is a good enough reason to buy it... I definitely recommend it, particularly as it is so reasonably priced... Just be aware of what you are getting before hitting the 'buy' button.

Great size and looks so good on or off. Really soft glow, perfect to use as a nightlight or just to make the room lovely and cosy. Only downsides are it didn't come with a spare bulb even though the instructions said it did, and removing the blue plastic wrap was so difficult I had to unscrew the base and it was really fiddly. I have wanted one of these pink Himalayan salt lamps for a while now but most of the ones I saw looked cheap, too small or light, but this one is everything I wanted honestly. It's a really massive and heavy bit of salt, seems well made, has a dimmer switch and all wired up safely. Really the salt part is just the lamp shade and you have an easy removeable circuit to place a bulb into. The glow from the light is not very bright but it is very warm and vibrant colour which I also feel has made the air around it fresher. If you are like me I recommend putting in the extra tenner or so to get one from this brand as it does seem like it is a cut above. Free 500g of salt is much appreciated. Might buy this as a present for others in the future.

Arrived promptly and was a doddle to assemble. Was surprised how heavy it was and looks really substantial. You can immediately see that it is a genuine Himalayan Rock and at such an affordable price. Came with a spare bulb too ...such a thoughtful idea. Had it on now for 4 hours and it is slightly warm to the touch which i find very comforting. Not sure how the health benefits it purports to have will be as only time will tell, but lying here, relaxing with just this warm, cosy, glowing rock, i can definitely say i am calmer. I will definitely be buying a few more as presents. Excellent buy, excellent quality and a lovely addition to any home

Apart from having to change the filament bold that came with it as it failed quite quickly I have found this a lovely, atmospheric occasional light. He gives off a lovely warm glow which is ideal at the bedside of an evening or in a cosy corner.

Good purchase..still functional nicely

This is a house warming present for friends. I have a small salt lamp myself which I've had for about 4 years and swear by it. I used to get regular colds in the Autumn and winter, I can't remember the last time I had one-it was before the salt lamp anyway! So I definitely find they work. I bought my friends a larger salt lamp 3-5KG's as their rooms are probably larger than mine. It arrived today and wow, I love it and am so pleased with it. I very nearly bought two to keep a larger one for myself as it was on Amazon's special deals at a reduced price, but on some of the pictures I've seen, the light seems to stop half way up the lamp which I didn't like, so I just purchased one just in case as they are too heavy to return. I wish now I had bought two, because I tested the lamp to ensure it works before giving to my friends and it lights up all the way to the top. Unfortunately I've missed the deal on Amazon now! Worth full price too though
