Following our extensive testing, we found that synthetic pet bedding was undamaged at this temperature. (We don’t recommend using Vamoosh however on pet bedding made from silk, wool or leather). Hope this help, The Vamoosh Team **Q: Does it dissolve any other natural fibres eg cotton, silk, wool?** A: Wish I'd remembered the warning not to use on wool...chucked in a woolen blanket that it did a wonderful job of semi disintegrating all over everything else. Entirely my own fault - heed the warning. Do not use on wool. Works wonders on removing pet hair from fleecy blankets though. **Q: does this only work at 85-95 degrees ? Because if so it don’t think it’s suitable for many things** A: My washing machine only goes up to 60 (environmentally friendly) and unfortunately this didn’t seem to work at all for me. **Q: Can you put this in a 40 wash?** A: Hi, no Vamoosh won't work on a 40 degrees wash - when we were developing Vamoosh, it was important to us that we did not use any toxic or corrosive chemicals or anything that left harmful residues on the fabric or for the environment. The scent in the packet is nice but when I finished the clean cycle the washing machine didn’t smell fresh but it didn’t smell of pet hair anymore. I work with animals and our washing machine at work deals with rabbit and guinea pig hair and my machine at home deals with dog hair, all three types of hair seems to have been dissolved after the wash. I’m not sure about cat hair but the dissolver appears to work on all different hair types.
