Thank you for your interest in the Sexy Plunge Bra. The bra offers light support and is designed to sit towards the outer side of the breast so that you can still wear revealing low cut necklines without the bra showing. It is technically designed to fit up to up to 38H. We would recommend a size 13 for 40DD. The back, shoulder, halter and low back converter straps are all adjustable for a perfect fit.
