Glow In The Dark Metro Train

My son loves it, but it needs a black light
My 5 year old adores Brio and really wanted this 'glow-in-the-dark' train and tunnel. He was so excited when it arrived, but disappointed that it didn't seem to actually glow in the dark. It didn't stop him from playing with it, but his much happier now that we've dug out our black light. Now it really does glow in the dark, as you can see from the photo!Maybe it would have glowed without the black light if we'd had any proper sunlight to charge it up in during the day. I guess we'll find out in the summer!4 stars because of how much my son has played with it, but not 5 because you shouldn't have to have (or buy!) a blacklight to get the main feature of a toy to work!

Great idea, but...
This clear tunnel and Metro-style trains are of the usual high Brio standard. The problem I've found is that although the clear tunnel can be removed, it isn't easy for an adult to refit, let alone a young child. Four lugs have to be located into four holes. Surely Brio could have come up with a better, easier design than this?

a TON of Play Value
2 yr-old plays with it ALL day long. It's durable and fun, and it adds an interesting dimension to other Brio trains/tracks/etc. Expensive, but worth the $$.
