Worked like a charm!
It's an unexpected pleasure when you buy something and it actually lives up to its hype. I had foot surgery four days ago, and this half leg condom worked really well. I did not have a cast, just dressings, and it was easy to get on and off. I was a little concerned that the opening seems so small, maybe 2+ inches, but it is quite flexible and had no problem getting over my dressings and heal. In one of the videos online it showed the person stretching the gasket over the hard rim of the top ring. I was glad I didn't have to do that, because I didn't know if there would be enough stretch, and it might even take more than two hands to pull that off. But overall, the designed and build quality seems really good. I would recommend it.

Must have.
My wife had surgery on her right foot. She's need to keep her bandaged foot completely dry. This product does its job. It fits above the knee (my wife is 5'2"). In the shower, she sat on a chair while placing her right leg (with this device installed) outside of the shower, and elevated on a small stool. This position reduce the amount of water that can potentially enter the seal. My wife foot is swollen to three to four times its normal size, we had to fold the elastic seal over the blue round ring in order to get her bandaged foot through without putting any pressure on her foot.

It Really Works
This is the best invention. After having two foot surgeries, I will forever be in debt to the creator of this wonderful item. I've used this product for weeks, successfully never getting my bandage wet while showering, and I highly recommend this product. I will admit that it can be a bit uncomfortable at the top where it seals, but that is necessary to create a tight seal. I still recommend this product, especially if you have a surgery coming up.

Great Shower Boot!!
I purchased this brand before and I really like it!! I bought the first one in 2022 and just now had to replace it. This one is a little easier to put on, and it has a rubbber grip on the bottom for your foot. Yes! I would recommend this product. Excellent value for the cost.

Works great but use as instructed
I will start off by saying this, read the directions and follow the directions. This product is not designed to be submerged underwater. It is designed for the shower and in that respect I feel that it works.I’ve used it half a dozen times, and it has kept the area bone dry.A couple of things you should probably be aware of. This product in my opinion is designed for below the calf. Not mid calf, and not top of the calf, but below the calf. Basically, anything a few inches or more above the ankle, and you’ll be rolling the dice. Secondly, I wear a men’s 10 shoe size. 5 foot barely fits in the foot portion. So I would say anything larger than a 10 and your toes are going to be crammed right up against the front. The plastic is a pretty durable and strong gauge of plastic, and I really cannot see being able to tear through it from just normal use. You still need to be careful when using the product as you will slide around a little bit from it. But not as much as I thought I would. During the use, it gets heavy and it feels like it’s filling up with water, but it is not. It’s just the water that is accumulating on top. My only design recommendation would’ve been to come up with a way for the water to drain off the top. But other than that, I have no criticisms. You should still try to keep it out from the direct line of the shower water as much as you can. But I think it can certainly handle a “normal “shower.I would highly recommend this and if used according to the directions, it should serve you well. It is certainly legs better than the old days where you just put a garbage bag over it and hope for the best.

What I really needed
When i broke my ankle I had to resort to sticking my leg out of the shower curtain when I took a shower. It was painful and awkward and stressful.. you will not regret buying this.. you might regret how long it took you to order.Suggest wrapping a towel around your cast.. mine had a few rough spots on the cast.. this make it easier to put on and take off.. I bought the wide version and i was glad I did.

BEST THING EVER POST-SURGERY
I rarely write reviews, but this thing is awesome!!!! I had ankle surgery last week and the doctor put on a big ol' splint (same size as a cast but with cotton bandages vs. plaster). He told me if I get it wet at all, I have to come in IMMEDIATELY to have it all redone because water would lead to infection. His advice was not to shower for seven days until my follow-up appointment! I'm one of those people who need a shower to feel human (as in, my mental health is tied to feeling clean), so that was not an option. Before surgery, I did a lot of research and eventually pre-ordered this thing. My husband told me not to take the chance and just suck it up without a shower, but after three days, I couldn't deal with it anymore. I took a deep breath, put this thing on, set up my shower chair, and hoped for the best. Got out, and the splint was TOTALLY dry. As in, not even damp. My husband was super-impressed, and I admit there may have been tears of joy from me. THANK YOU for inventing this thing; it has really helped me mentally post-surgery.P.S. Not sure if I can write this or if it will be censored, but this thing will forever be known as the "foot condom" in my house. :0) Seriously, if you are having surgery and need to shower, buy something like this!

Doesn’t fit over boot.
The seal of the rubber around the calf is very good! I bought this one specifically since it says it would fit around a boot and worked fine while I was in a splint but it can’t make it around the heal of a boot. The plastic gets a little stuck under the ring when I take it off but easy enough to pull down as I maneuver the rubber ring down. It’s also easier to put it on with help but definitely doable on my own if I need to.
