I had first purchased about 5 years ago from a furniture company. I replaced the original one a couple years ago and was worried I wouldn’t be able to keep finding it so I actually have one put up just in case. So soft, cooling and comfortable. It looks very nice and washes well.

I saw this bedspread in a furniture store and tracked the brand down and ordered it! I do agree there is alot of "shedding". I washed and dried mine on gentle twice now. Then I spray a light mist of spray starch over it. Let it settle and that helped cut down on it. Also when wearing dress clothes, especially dark shades i put a throw or my robe down before I sit on the bed. It is worth it because living in Indiana it gets bitter cold here and this bedspread is the the warm and cuddliest one ever!!

This was supposed to include matching shams, but I didn't get them as you can only get matching shams as a SET included with the comforter. I looked all over the internet for them to no avail. Amazon gave me a discount, but I still wish I had the matching shams.Otherwise, this is an adorable, thick, warm and nicely sized comforter which fits our king bed well with plenty of room on all sides. I bought it to add a neutral*boho* vibe to my bedroom and its perfect.Our 2 dogs sleep with us so I have to wash it often, which makes the fringe shed a little, but you cant tell once its dried. It has stood up to my frequent washings as well.

**I wish I took these pictures before I spent the last 30 minutes lint rolling my bed** it was MUCH worse!I wanted to love this comforter, it was so pretty and after hunting for days for the one I wanted I thought I found it… I was WRONG. Such a disappointment, it sheds like insane! I’ve tried everything to get it to stop, it’s ruined my sheets, pillowcases and pajamas, even other clothes in my closet somehow have the lint on it, I don’t even know how it spreads! I probably have lint balls in my lungs from breathing it in all night.I’ve had it for 7 months now, we’re breaking up! Oh and if you thought it would shed less over time it doesn’t, it gets worse, it’s worse than ever before, I don’t know how that’s possible. If this was not a problem I would have given this 5 stars because it’s beautiful and the weight of it is perfect, but I cant stand sleeping rolling around on pilled up sheets and a comforter that ruins everything.

The comforter is beautiful; I love chenille (reminds me of my Grandmother's spread when I was a child). Well made, love the oversize fit (spreads evenly on both sides of bed). The only drawback (which does not bother me) is that it sheds. If you place a cotton garment (esp black) on the spread it is covered with lint. I simply do not place clothing on the spread. Well worth the price!!

The spread is very heavy and Bulky.It was purchased used for $56, a great price, but has multiples pet stains.it requires a commercial washing machine. Should the seller be willing to reduce the price further, I would consider keeping it.
