Stone Cottage - Comforter Set, Reversible Cotton Sateen Bedding with Matching Shams, All Season Home Decor (Willow Tan/Beige, King)

This comforter is amazing!!! We fell in love with this comforter when we found it on the Kohls app. After searching the internet for a cheaper price, we settled for Amazon which was a whopping HALF the price of the same thing sold at Kohl’s. We ordered the queen comforter set and it is perfect. It fits our queen size bed which has box springs and a mattress and it’s big enough that it covers both sides of the bed and then some. We hate short comforters!!The fabric is soft, feels expensive and heavy without being TOO warm. We prefer comforters which are light because we tend to get hot during the night. This one is heavy but we have yet to overheat. The two shams included do have zippers.It arrived in a zip up comforter bag which gave the comforter and shams a plastic smell, but after airing it out for 24 hours the smell went away completely.We needed two Euro Shams and tried to order the striped Euro Shams that are in the stock photo but they apparently no longer make them (Bummer!).After some research, we decided to order two shams from Amazon: the Kevin Textile Burlap Decoration Cushion Covers in Peridot. The shams are green where as the comforter colors are white/khaki/taupe, but we love how it all works together. We can’t say enough good things about this comforter set! Love it!

Pros: 1. Thick but lightweight and fluffy 2. Nice quality cotton 4. Design is as appears in Amazon photo - it's very pretty - soft brown (taupe-like) foliage on soft white (not yellow, cream or beige) which looks crisp 5. I searched online and in stores extensively for a high quality but affordable cotton comforter and this is what I found. I'm very pleased with the quality for the price. 6. Washes nicely - comes out slightly crinkled which I like - see #2 below for the problems related to washing.Cons: 1. Have a full size bed and the Full/Queen is huge - I have to keep lifting it off the floor. 2. Much too large to fit in an apartment or home washer and drier - washes nicely but has to be taken to the laundromat that has a heavy duty large washer 2. Don't like the striped underside but I knew that's what I was getting when I purchased it.

First I’ll say that this is a pretty comforter and I couldn’t wait to wash it (as I do before use with everything that touches my skin) and get in on my bed. I washed it in cool water in my large capacity front loader and now have lumps where the batting shifted in several places. I’ve tried readjusting it without luck. It also extremely wrinkled. I don’t mind a few wrinkles in cotton, but between the wrinkles and the lumps it looks horrible. I’d appreciate any suggestions from people who have dealt with this as I’d really like to be able to use this.

I am so pleasantly surprised and so happy with this Duvet set! We bought a King size. I love the simple botanical print on one side and the neutral stripes on the other. This set can work really well with a farmhouse decor or cabin/lodge decor or a contemporary theme. It has a very soft, high quality feel. Our pillow shams will look even nicer when I get a pair of fuller, fluffier king size pillows for them. 😊🧡

I don’t find this comforter to be either light or heavy. It has enough weight to keep me warm and doesn’t slide around on the bed or need much adjusting from week to week.I think it looks great, is made with good materials, and is exactly what I wanted. The only negative is that the zipper on one of the shams gets stuck and is a pain to close, but it won’t need to be removed but on rare occasions.

I’ve seen some bad reviews for this company and I’m not sure why? Botanical images are brown on white. Fabric is soft and there are internal ties for the duvet if you need them. Personally, I don’t use them. Duvet and pillow covers have zip closures. Fit my pillows fine, but might be too small for thicker-fluffier pillows. That being said, my pillows aren’t thin. They’re about 2-2.5 inches thick.Fabric is soft and well put together but the white will show other stains that are on your duvet. If you don’t want that, clean your duvet or buy a slip cover for your duvet.

Beautiful cotton duvet cover, ties and zipper work great to keep duvet in place. King sizing is correct. Love the cream, taupe and browns....lovey neutral color scheme to match any decor. Great price and great quality, very happy with my purchase.

Love the product, it's so soft and makes my bed look so luxuriousEasy to wash.. No ironing required... Just throw it in the dryer
