LED GU10 Spotlight Bulbs, Frosted, 7W (50W Halogen Equivalent), Warm White 3000K, 500 Lumen, Non-dimmable(Pack of 4)

These 7w GU10 LED bulbs are a very good buy for just over a quid each - value!. even thought they are rated 7w they equal 50w , what a power saving for a start. The amount of times I have bought GU10 bulbs that have claimed on the front of the box to equal a 50w halogen bulb only to be disappointed that when i replace the 50w halogen only to find they have a much less brightness , more like 40w - but no these ones (to me) look just as bright as a 50w halogen GU10 bulb (maybe even a tad brighter!) and the colour rendering is also good. not a bluish harsh white light you get with some LED bulbs. I cannot comment on the Longevity as I have only just put them into the spotlight fitting - so that's the next thing I shall watch out for. Some things to note: On my delivery , I opened up the box and one of the bulbs diffuser/frosted cover was slightly lifted , and with my nail it just came off .. does not seem much glue used to hold the cover on . Just be careful if diffuser cover does fall off it looks like it could expose some dodgy looking electrical components like regulators or capacitors or something alongside the LED chips, so when plugged in to light fitting don't touch anywhere near these components just in case they are live! The back of the bulbs are white plastic , no issue if you are using them in flush / sunken GU10 bulb holders but dont look pretty if used in say a brushed steel effect spotlight or something like that , because normal 50watt GU10 have a chrome/silver on the outside of the bulb (Dichroic is it called?) Very fast delivery from amazon so was pleased about that , but I ordered something else at same time so 2 items in my basket , and amazon said to cut down on parcels they would send as one package. That would have been good , as on the last leg of its delivery journey I use a parcel forwarding service and because amazon did send them out as 2 separate parcels I had to pay for 2 separate parcels to my parcel forwarding service instead of one parcel!!

Perfect light in kitchen and so bright

Never quite sure what you’re going to get when you order lights but these arrived on time and the product looks good quality. The LEDs are a lovely warm white but the acid test will be how long they last. I’m hoping they last considerably longer than the halogen bulbs which seem to be constantly dying!

They are good value and work well in my reading lights. The frosted element helps to keep the light from them softer

Great value, nice and bright

I purchased a big pack on 13 Jan 2022 and I'm reviewing the items on 22 Jul 2025. I love the warm light colour and the frosted finish: they really smooth a lot the light and make it much more pleasant to the eyes, especially in new builds/small spaces where the ceiling height is usually 250cm max. The durability of the product tho is very low. As other reviews state, they've started going off one by one (3 so far). It's weird as the single LEDs still look "on" but like if extremely dimmed - I wonder if it's a "programmed obsolescence". As you can see in my pic, the first is a normally working bulb. The next 3 ones look like "working" but they cannot light even an inch around them. I'd like to purchase the product again but I'm put off from the short life span, especially because LED lights should last an average of 15+ years!

Reasonably bright and well diffused light. Slightly green hue, but not too bad, and good value for the price.
