I’m gluten free and this takes amazing and is the best recovery shake. Tastes amazing.

I’ve recently taken up cycling and have been riding a 60 mile route once a week, along with a smattering of shorter rides. At first, those 60 mile rides left my body battered afterwards and I really wasn’t able to ride again for at least another day or two, as my muscles were just too sore. I decided enough was enough and did some research into recovery mixes and Tailwind caught my eye and have been using since. Now perhaps it’s a combination of increasing my endurance as well as the Tailwind Recovery mix, but I do know that after my long rides now, I’m able to ride again the next day with no lingering effects. I’m not walking like a zombie the night after my ride and am basically functional again. I love the ease of the mix. I just place two scoops in a mixing bottle, add water from a flask I bring, shake it up and done. It’s part of my post-ride ritual now and I look forward to getting to my car and just relaxing and drinking my Tailwind. The chocolate flavor is perfect, not too sweet, and definitely not chalky. I can whole heartedly recommend this product and suggest you try it out to aid in your recovery process.

I have been looking for tasty post-run protein forever, and I finally found the right one for me. Tailwind Nutrition Rebuild Recovery Drink Mix is it. At my age (52), running daily, participating in long-distance races on monthly basis, and playing soccer in between them can be very exhausting and damaging to the body. Ever since I started drinking Tailwind Nutrition, however, I feel stronger and I recover quicker. The results say it all -- I am faster than I was 15 years ago and I've qualified for Boston two years in a row. Also, I love the flavor -- it tastes natural and has no nasty artificial aftertaste, and it is not overly sweet. I also love the fact that it's easy on my stomach which tends to become sensitive after long grueling runs. Yes, it is a bit expensive compared to some protein mix that comes in buckets at Costco, but it is worth every penny, and I am not going back.

Absolutely love Tailwind products!! Their recovery product is my go to after a long run. I feel amazing the next day after my long run when I use this recovery product. Highly recommend!! I have only used the chocolate flavor. I really like the taste and does not upset my stomach. I mix it with cold water in a shaker bottle with no issues.

Let me start by saying that Tailwind Nutrition is wonderful and they deliver what they promise in their products. I have been using their endurance drink, and started the recovery about two weeks ago. The powder mixed easily, but you have to shake it. It is very light in consistency, and the chocolate flavor tastes great. I drink it right after my hard runs and I have noticed that I’m not as sore as when I go without it. I’m still experimenting with it because I have experienced tummy issues within an hour of drinking it. I’m trying to rule out other potential contributing factors like I run with only the endurance drink in my system, or sensitivity to a particular ingredient. I would say, it’s worth a try.

Doesn’t stir well but shakes very nicely. Great taste. Easy to wash out. No tummy trouble I’ve used the tailwind before runs and I just recently started using this after harder workouts and long runs. The biggest thing I’ve noticed is that it curbs my hunger for a little while because of the protein. I also feel much less fatigued. The best protein powder I’ve ever used, tastes much better than the others. However as many other reviews have stated, it’s really expensive guys 🤯 My other tailwind products you get 30-40 servings for less than you’re paying for the protein. If it was more comparable in price, I’d drink it daily. I’m incredibly envious of tailwinds sponsored athletes.

Best protein out there. Used in conjunction with tailwind endurance. Great for recovery.

Mixes well, great flavour. I love this product. I use four or five ice cubes with water. Wouldn’t change to anything else.

This is the 1st non-dairy recovery shake I've come across, a really important factor for me as any dairy (including whey) stuffs up my sinuses - I've tried a fair few. I also love how quick and easily it mixes with water and how great it tastes. I've tried both chocolate and vanilla, both yummy. I'll be sticking to this from now for sure and recommending it to my athlete friends.
