Need better packaging but overall really easy installation and bright!
Bought the 24w White LED panel to replace 12" T9 fluorescent bulb. The LED ceiling panel with ballast and hardware came in a flimsy Amazon bubble envelope. Part of the metal was warped during shipping but I was able to shape it back into a flat surface. Suggestion: use a box for shipping! The hardware included are the magnets and screws necessary to mount into existing metal ceiling fixture. I removed the existing T9 fluorescent bulb and ballast along with the metal clamps holding in the T9 bulb. Then affixed the assembled LED panel with new ballast. Wiring was very simple also. Using the provided 2-way spring connector connected the LED wires to the wires from the ceiling. I had to strip the ceiling wires for a clean connection (so you may need pliers to do this for your wires). I used red for positive and blue for negative from the LED panel, my ceiling wires are white (neutral) and black for hot (positive). The spring connector is not marked but just match up each end in the spring connector. The LED is very bright. Way brighter and more of a blue than a yellow light. Overall, I'm very happy with the ease of installation. Great value!

Excellent Replacement Lamp
This replaced an 8" fluorescent bulb that burned out. All you have to do is remove the old starter, splice in the LED driver, remove any bulb holders for the old bulb, and this snaps in with the included magnet standoffs. It's a 10 minute affair. The result is 2-3 times brighter that the old fluorescent bulb. My fixture has a translucent plastic lamp cover that fit pretty tight to the base. So I drilled a series of 1/4" holes around the base of the plastic lamp cover where they wouldn't be seen to ventilate the fixture just in case. The lamp is now much brighter with a warm glow that works well in the utility room where it's installed. The provided LED driver has mounting holes but I just stuck it to the base of the lamp with velcro since it's very light. Works great. I only wish we could make LED products in the USA so I could buy American!

Not 200w bright, more like 100w
Bought this to replace the 12inch circline flourescent bulb in my Hunter fanaway ceiling fan. Located in my kitchen I was looking for something very bright and this is described as being 2400 lumens, which is the equivalent of a 200w light bulb. Installation was super easy. But after putting the diffuser on and turning it on I was a bit disappointed that it doesn’t seem 200 watt bright, closer to 100 watt bulb. But it’s way brighter than the 32 watt circline bulb I had before which the box says is rated at 2100 lumens.

Great product, bright LED and just follow the installation instruction
Great product and it revived my kitchen ceiling light. I might need clean the grease covered plastic cover to get the 2400 lumen :) The LED driver is a little bit flimsy and hope it can last longer. I made a stupid mistake, trying to pull the ballast out of the housing rather than directly cutting and stripping the incoming wires of the ballast as the manual suggested, and it became a fiasco....Just using the wire connector in the kit instead using wire nuts from the old housing. A 10 minute work became 2 and half hours.

Not as bright
I like decent day lighting in my home but this felt a little dim per the description. I love the magnetic installation though, I’ll give a give start for that, but light wise, a little disappointed!

Only worked for five months
I purchased and installed this light in November. It's now April and it has stopped working. We checked all other connections. I'm disappointed in the quality of this product.

Can use your old fixture
This thing is great. Just rip out the fluorescent stuff and stick this in it’s place. Don’t forget to turn off the power first. It is held in place with magnets so there is no drilling or screwing needed. Just be sure the old fixture is steel or you will need some type of fasteners.

Easy install and greater brightness
My two tube circline fixture died after a couple of years. It really doesn't get much usage. So I checked and found that replacing the two dead circline tubes would run $45 and higher... And there was no guarantee that the ballast had also reached the end of its life... Another $20+ ... So I tried this unit, and found that it was very simple to install and actually produced more light than the original twin tubes, and at about 2/5 the cost of the fluorescents and ballast. I had to remove the clips which held the tubes in place.. No big deal, they just popped out, and used TwistEms instead of the little wire block they supplied. Anyway. Installed in about 5 minutes. Now we just need to see how long the unit lasts.
