I got this a while back when it was on sale, I find that it works quite well, only trouble is it does leak a little if travelling, so I tend to throw it into a ziplock bag before taking it anywhere just in case. Bonus points for stripping makeup beautifully, My girlfriend used it as she did not have any makeup remover at my house and it worked a treat

I gave this two full months before reviewing because I wanted to see if it was just that first-wash placebo or actually doing something. I have combination skin but also… I’m not in my 20s anymore - or even my 50s! The dullness and enlarged pores around the nose/cheeks have become my main battle, and too many “charcoal” washes are basically just grey dyed gel. This one is genuinely different. What I noticed in 2 weeks: skin looks slightly brighter after the AM cleanse, not grey/matte/muted pores on and around my nose look a little less “crater-y” gets rid of that mid-day shine without drying the jawline/beard area it rinses clean, not slippery, not squeaky/tight I think the combo of charcoal + salicylic acid + glycerin really does actually balance out combo skin rather than nuke it. Physcologically it feels almost like a quick mud pack for my face every morning. One minor negative: it takes a lot to rinse off your face. I use a face cloth to completely remove it. Overall: this has replaced my Nivea and Bulldog washes because it makes my face look more alive in the morning. For the price vs performance, it’s an easy repurchase — and a product I’d genuinely recommend to other men who want anti-dullness without the dryness penalty.

I suffer from an oily skin and this definitely helps. Leaves your skin feeling fresh and clean. Sometime it does leave your skin with a tingly feeling and can burn your eyes if it gets close to your eyes. But overall good product and value for money.
