Be sure to align the arms and tighten the nuts on the backside of the mounting plate BEFORE installation - otherwise the lights on either side will tend to sag.Addendum - we've had these about a year now and still like the look - but - the light output (where you need it) is dismal when the fixture is installed as intended . We have these located above bathroom vanity mirrors and, with the shades directed upward, most of the light is directed toward the ceiling and not on your upper body. I finally flipped the fixtures over so that the shades were directed downward and there was a significant improvement in the illumination over the sink. From all that I can gather, it seems that the light was intended to be installed with the shades pointed up...... so, I made sure to screw the shades in as tight as possible and I planned to use either CFL or LED bulbs to lessen heat build-up within the fixture. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great! *by M***N on September 13, 2018* Bought a pair of these to replace the lights in the master bath.
