I’ve read this book to both my kids during most lunchtimes since they were around 9 months on, and they are both significantly above average in terms of language skills. Of course, it probably doesn’t hurt that I’m a speech therapist, but I think these have REALLY helped! I buy this book for every baby shower & first birthday that I attend. It. Is. The. BEST! Free speech therapist tip: if you read these during mealtimes it’s much easier to shovel food in (or “first bite then read!” for the BLW babies), and it makes meals so much more fun & educational! If you want to check off the “did I do anything for my baby’s development today?” box then just reading this book definitely counts! Review: Very Nice Quality Book - It’s difficult to find a good nursery rhyme book with the right illustrations. This is very well done. Our granddaughter loves rhymes and little songs, so this was perfect.

Very Nice Quality Book
It’s difficult to find a good nursery rhyme book with the right illustrations. This is very well done. Our granddaughter loves rhymes and little songs, so this was perfect.

A huge hit
I love both the book and cd. What a treat. My 5 year old daughter memorized several of the poems and songs. She listens to the music constantly. I enjoy the selection of poems and the illustrations. I actually purchased this book with my speech-delayed son in mind, but it appeals to the whole family (6 children 13 and younger). You won't be disappointed with this book!

Plenty of nursery rhymes, for enjoyment and fun.
There are a lot of children's nursery rhymes and songs in this book. The illustrations are attractive and colorful, Any young child will enjoy learning and singing these nursey rhymes. There is a link to a website for the songs.

Wonderful. The singing is soothing and enjoyable
Wonderful. The singing is soothing and enjoyable, unlike some other kid CDs. My 3 year old daughter asked to listen to the CD everyday and liked me to read along with the book at times. I love listening to it too. I bought all my friends with young kids this book with CD for Christmas.

Not my style
The poems are great but the art work too whimsical or perhaps too simple for my taste. I ended up returning it. I just didn’t think I’d end up reading it to my grandkids.

Great!
It was exactly the gift I wanted to give to my very first grandbaby! As a retired children's librarian, I think this book is perfect reading for babies and toddlers!

Anything illustrated by Kady MacDonald Denton is good value, but the nursery rhyme treasury is special even in that company -- there's a reason it won several awards, including the Governor-General's Award. The nursery rhymes she picks are sometimes familiar and sometimes not; they are grouped intelligently, and -- back to the main point -- they have wonderful full-colour watercolour drawings of animals and children circling around the lyrics. A beautiful work.

英語の歌の歌詞確認のために購入しました。 年齢別（赤ちゃん、入学前、入学後、オールシーズン）に分かれているので、長く使えそうです。 音声DLは年齢別です。 音声は全ての歌が入っているわけではなく、一部は詩の朗読のみです。 また、歌ごとにDL出来ないのでやや不便さはありますが、せいぜい10分前後なので許容範囲です。 本来2番以降もあるのに、1番しか歌詞が載っていないものがいくつかあり残念でしたので-1です。
