All Natural Wood Chinese Checkers with Wooden Marbles by Brybelly (1-Pack)

I purchased this game to play with my three grandkids, ages 8, 9, 11. We had a blast. The board is the perfect size, made well, and all the pieces were there. It is large enough to play but yet small enough to be portable and bring to their home if I want. The game is easy to play; tons of fun; super easy for the kids to learn. Kids had a blast and we played it over and over again! Fun Game for all ages. Like checkers but you aren't taking pieces off the board, just jumping over pieces to get to the other side before your opponents do. The pieces are round wooden balls easy to move around.

Chinese checkers is a favorite game that I used to play as a kid with my family. It was always a fun game, intuitive and makes you think, yet easy for all ages to pick up and play. I've been trying to find this game for a while now as an adult, but have only found the cheap cardboard versions, which just seems awful. They seem like they would get ruined immediately, and they just look and feel cheap. My husband bought me this wooden version for my birthday, and I love it! The balls are wooden as well, so everything is just really nice. It didn't really come with much instruction, although there's not much needed. It came in a cardboard box, and that's the way you store it. Seems kind of funny to have a nice wooden game set, stored in a cardboard box. BUT, the price was great, and I don't need a fancy wooden box to store it in if it's going to tack a bunch onto the price. The pieces and board are wooden, so it's not like they'll get crushed in a cardboard box. This is a really nice game set, and it's a lot of fun to play!

Excellent set

I like the wood board - it's thick and solid but not heavy. Perfect size for a few people to play but maybe a bit small if all 6 play at once. The balls are a very lightweight painted wood material and this makes them harder to grasp and move around. I grew up with a set like this that used real glass marbles and those were superior. Another small issue I have with these pieces is that when black and blue or yellow and white are played at the same time the colors can be hard to tell apart. The blue is very dark and the yellow is light. Usually, though, fewer people play and we can just use more contrasting colors. I think I'll look to buy real marbles to eventually replace the balls that came with this set but for its price I'd say this was a good buy.

Comes with wooden board, but plastic marbles which are difficult to handle. Would recommend spending more and getting real glass marbles. Thank you.

Están muy bien hechas y se ven muy bonitas, pero el especio entre cada una de las cánicas es muy corto, por lo que se complica agarrarlas y tirar.

Great option for this classic game, it’s a little bit smaller but works great.

I’d recommend getting Chinese checkers with pegs instead of balls. They’re very hard to pick up without moving the others, especially if you have chubby or slippery fingers. The balls are a bit lopsided, so if you’re OCD I don’t recommend it. I’d also recommend getting a board with coloured backgrounds because it can get confusing which end you need to get to when everyone’s out of their home space.
