I wear 3X in Adidas, Champion, Under Armor and a bunch of other shorts including some crappier ones. By the way, I still have and wear these shorts. The point is, I know my size. These shorts however? Way, way too small. Reviewers mentioned that they run small so I opted for the 4X size and still they are too small. He is 6'5" and has a 35" waist and loves the way these fit. He normally has problems finding shorts that are long enough but these hit right above the knee. I ordered a Large for him and he doesn't think they are too tight. 2 of the shorts were a different brand than the other 4 and he says those were a bit looser and likes those better but the others aren't bad. I have washed them all several times by now and have no problems with fraying or fading.
