Bag did have a slight fishy smell but quickly aired out. Otherwise the bag is excellent. Holds most of my gear really well.

This review is about the FISH smell. The bag it self is a great size and fit for my use. Now this bag comes with the worst smell from the manufacture. To get rid of this smell give it a liberal dose of Baking soda then place the bag in the Freezer (yes the Freezer) leave it in for about 48hrs. Remove the bag and vacuum out the baking soda. The bag should be free of this smell. I hope this solves your smell issue, it did work for me.

CADeN's large camera bag is similar in size and design to the larger of Amazon Basics' two bags. Amazon's bag has more panache with its smooth orange interior and better overall finish. The CADeN bag offers weatherproofing, which the Amazon bag does not. Both have rearrangeable interior partition pieces. Both offer good protection and ruggedness.Now, about that weatherproofing. I don't want to overstate this. At least in cold weather the CADeN bag doesn't reek to high heaven of fish oil. Apparently, that's what the manufacturer used for weatherproofing. Come summer heat and some time spent in a hot vehicle, who knows? As it is now, if working with my face within six or seven inches of the bag for some reason, some fish odor is noticeable. Not enough to make me retch and open a window, just enough to remind this bag does have B.O., sort of. Is that a deal killer? For me, so far, it's not. It is enough for me to withhold one star. Prospective buyers should be aware of this characteristic and of the possibility that some of these bags might be more noticeably fishy smelling than others. In all other respects, it's a good bag at a reasonable price.

This may seem an odd thing to review but without question it must be said.I bought this camera bag because it was the right size and had all the pockets that I was looking for. It was also a good price. When I first opened up the box I was immediately hit by an awful smell that could only be described as DEAD FISH. I needed the bag that same day so I doused it with febreeze, loaded it up and away I went.Within 3 blocks my car actually started to smell. Clearly, no amount of febreeze was going to mask it. Fortunately, the gig was outside and I was able to store the bag down wind.So, I ordered a return. Same bag. I figured the smell was a fluke. The next day the new bag arrived and guess what? Still smells like dead fish. No joke.Obviously there is something in the manufacture of this product that is causing this. As far as I'm concerned DEAD FISH smell is a manufacturer defect.

This bag is perfect for what I need it for! Several pouches and pockets. However, it smells horrible. I'm not sure why or what it is, but it is strong. I put a Gain dryer sheet inside to hopefully overpower the scent, so we will see how that works. I am hopeful, as this is the perfect bag for my needs.

Great camera bag with lots of room. I’m Albee to fit a Sony A6000 with 2 extra lenses, a couple filters in their cases and a 7” tablet in the main compartment. The side and end pockets have room for the other needed items.

Nice bag. Comfortable to carry and fits my Nikon D3500 camera well. However, in my opinion it needs a bit more space to carry multiple lenses.
