how far apart when installed?

training wheels are a good 6 inches on each side. very sturdy almost impossible to turnover. Great Product!!

What is the distance between the predrilled holes on the mounting bracket?

There are 3 holes on each bracket. It can be adjusted by two levels. Literally takes 10 minutes to attach the training wheels. You remove the screw from each foot pedal and use the included screws that are longer to attach the training wheels. My kid (5) loves it
