Great..so far
I just received this refurbed tablet today and I must say it is like brand new. Works fantastically. Display is nice and sound is great. Camera is decent. Battery is gray and charges quickly.I have a iPad that’s like 7 years old and still runs like new, but I needed something smaller for reading and playing my game (covet fashion) and so far this meets my expectations. I had bought a fire kindle HD 10” prior to this and it was just too big and only works with amazon stuff (unless you do a bunch of Mumbo jumbo on it) which I didn’t feel was worth it. It cost me $106. I returned that one and bought this one for $125. Honestly it’s like night and day.No more buying kindles for me unless for my children since they are cheap. If things go sideways in the coming days, I’ll be sure to update.

A purchase you won't regret!
Purchased as a replacement for the Tab E Lite 7" and I couldn't be happier with this purchase! First, you cannot tell this was a refurbished tablet, at all, other than the box it ships in. Touchscreen is great, picture is amazing, with an 8" display. Processor is fast. This has 16gb of storage with an sd card slot for expandable storage. My 7 year old loves this tablet! It's also lightweight and much thinner than his previous one. I installed Family Link, so now I have the parental controls I needed and at no extra cost, unlike with Samsung Kids. Fast shipping as well. Ordered the perfect kids case too, which I definitely recommend a case for this tablet and any tablet that a child will be using. The price was on point for this tablet, a great value for the price when compared with a brand new one. Very happy with this purchase! UPDATE 12/21/19- My son has been using this tablet for a couple months now and we are still very happy with this tablet! Processor is super fast and we have had absolutely no issues with connectivity, screen, or charging. It's a great size. I have a 10.1" Lenovo tablet and I honestly hate it....it's heavy, slow and too big for my liking and intended use. 7" tabs can be too small I've found, so this 8" display is honestly perfect for kids and those who don't use it for things like streaming movies and gaming. My family uses The Galaxy Phones too and we have for years. We are very happy with the Galaxy line of products. Don't second guess it if you're thinking about buying this tablet, just do it!

Great value, does the basic stuff really well.
Overall, great value. Nice bright screen, battery life is great. Quite responsive, but not always the fastest when loading apps. If you want to play graphic intensive games, look elsewhere, but for browsing, watching videos, etc, this is a really good device. Recommended.

TABLET DIED 4 MONTHS AFTER PURCHASE FOR NO REASON. BUYER BEWARE!!
**Final Update** Reduced to 1 star! bought this end of august. It is now end of december. Today my sons tablet just stopped charging. There isnt a loose charging port, no compromise to the charging port, and the cord fits snug. It just stopped charging. Knowing it is refurbished, I cant help but wonder, why was it originally returned? Maybe it was just defective from the factory and the refurbishing kept it running for 4 months? Anyway, bottom line, I rented a tablet at a cost $30+ a month for 4 months(with case and memory card), basically, and then it just stopped. Samsung wants nothing to do with it, because it was already defective. Seller doesnt care because they got their money. Now I have to buy another tablet. I cant stress enough that I would NEVER buy refurb again. I bought my daughter a brand new 10" samsung tab e, twice the memory, brand new for Christmas for only $60 more than I paid for this, and I'm betting Best Buy and/or Samsung might actually care about a dead product 4 months on since it is new. If you are thinking of doing it, do yourself a favor and find the extra money for new, and make sure it is from a retailer who will care if it dies within, say, 6 months. This is truly ridiculous.***Update***I'm changing this from 5 stars to 3. It has nothing to do with being refurbished. I have 2 and they work fine. However, I've found a frustration with samsung and this tablet that is getting annoying. There isnt much internal storage. No problem, get a memory card, right? Well, unlike most androids, samsung doesnt allow an sd card to work as internal memory (most tabelts/phones you can format the sd card to work as internal memory and then everything is stored on to the memory card and you never have to manually do it, and you just have a lot of space). You ONLY can use your sd card as external storage. That means every time you take a picture or download an app, you have to go in, and physically move it to the card. Well, that's annoying enough, but I've noticed on BOTH of my son's tablets, they bring it to me saying it "isnt working" and I ho through the apps, and most of the apps are back in internal storage. My kids wouldn't know how to do this. For some reason, the tablet is pushing everything from the card to the tablets memory randomly for no reason, filling up the memory (there are always a few left in external memory, because the tablet ran out of space and the apps couldn't be moved). I have no idea why samsung didnt give consumers the option to allow the card to act as internal memory. I REALLY dont know why after a few days, it pushes everything it can from the card to the tablets memory, causing it to basically stop functioning because it's memory is full, and then I have to take 20 minutes to move everything again. But both tablets do this, so it is definitely something with the tablet. After writing all this out, I'm more annoyed and changing it to 2 stars lol. Seriously, it's a pain. I loved it before this, but having to manually move things would have made it a 4 star, but pushing everything off the card? Deal breaking time waster for me.I bought this for my 6 year old. We bought our 3 kids Lenovo tablets for Christmas, and by March, 2 of the 3 tablets had shattered screens (they have had several tablets, we have never had that problem. Learned my lesson about cheap brand tablets). I wanted to get a good brand, but didnt want to spend too much money. We had e lite Samsung's, and they were ok but very outdated and slow, so I didnt want to go that route, but wanted the app store, so didnt want to go the kindle route. The only Samsung A I could find was $199 and that was more than I wanted to spend. I'm always hesitant with refurbished, because I'm afraid the battery will be near the end of its life. I decided to go for it anyway, and got this, a 64GB sd card, and a kids case for less than the cost of the new A tablet. It's been a week and my 6 year old is now a stranger lol. But seriously, he loves it! It is fast, it charges fast, lasts a long time, has a great screen/picture, and is the perfect size for him. If anything changes, I will update, but as of now, this is seriously one of the best purchases I have made in awhile. It has made my son very happy, and he doesnt hand it to me every 3 minutes with errors or crashing, which makes me happy!

Great Device
I have used Nook and Fire devices for several years. Although they were good for some things they lacked speed, versatility on apps, and functions. This product is more expensive, but worth it. The battery lasts several days for me and charges quickly. No matter what app I run from streaming video or whatever, it is always fast. This unit also looks and seems brand new. I have owned this for a month or two and absolutely love it. I highly recommend it.
