Gourmet Fries Seasonings Sour Cream and Onion, 2 Pound

This Fries Seasoning is really good!! It's not overly salty. You can taste the sour cream and onion powder. They blend really well together. I have sprinkled it on food other than french fries. It's really good on popcorn too! I have sprinkled some on cooked rice. It gave it really good flavor. I also fried some flour tortillas and sprinkled some of this on the tortilla before putting anything else on it. It's really good on meat as well. This is a very versatile seasoning. I am definitely going to be ordering more of it. If I could give it more than 5 stars, I would. It's definitely worth the price. The 9 ounce bottle is bigger than I thought it would be. Thank you Fries Seasoning for such a great, versatile seasoning.

It made the food taste real good

I have ordered this powder multiple times. It comes with a shaker which makes it easy to apply. I would give it a 5 star rating except that it does taste quite salty. Otherwise, great flavor!

Great for all kinds of food to add an extra bit of flavor. We use it on baked potatoes and home made potato chips. I can't wait to try this on popcorn. I ordered the salt and vinegar flavor first. It is my favorite flavor and the reason I ordered sour cream and onion flavor.

Closest thing to auntie Anne’s at home. Flavor is a bit too milk heavy and salty. I’ve found better sour cream and onion powders but way too expensive. I’m willing to die eating this powder.

Update: Some months later, I noticed these were both infested with little, brown bugs--especially the Sour Cream & Onion flavor. I don't know whether they were infested with bug eggs when I purchased them, or if the bugs somehow entered the sealed containers. Either way, it's gross and I threw them both out. Original Review: Sour Cream & Onion: Tasty, but too salty and coarse. Doesn't stick very well to popcorn. Also, a bit overpriced. BBQ: Same as above, but not exactly the BBQ flavor I had in mind.

Very flavourful. Goes well on air-fried fries. I'm sure i could make a lot of great things with this.

I’ll start off saying I LOVE salt and vinegar stuff and I eat it all the time, so I was excited when I came across this. I put it on my popcorn and noticed it didn’t taste quite right, almost like it had a chemical taste and smell, and then I noticed my tongue and the inside of my cheek started to swell, and I mean bad, my tongue was twice the size of normal and it felt like I had eaten the whole bottle of seasoning, that feeling you get when you eat too many salt and vinegar chips or sour skittles, but X’s 10. I took some Benadryl just in case and this morning when I woke up my face was covered in hives. My tongue has gone down but it still burns and hurts. Idk if I got a bad batch, or what its made with but it went in the trash. I’ve never in my life experienced something like that before and I’ve never had an allergic reaction to anything and like I said, I eat salt and vinegar stuff ALL the time. The company did give me a refund so I have no complaints with them so maybe I just got a bad batch, but be careful trying it for the first time.
