Oetiker18500060 StepLess 1-Ear Clamp Kit (StepLess Ear Clamps, stainless steel with standard jaw single action pincer)

I'm using these to make the oil / fuel lines on my Harleys look neat and professional. The pliers included in the kit are perfectly fine but I may need a set with side jaws for tight areas under the oil tanks. So far so good! Ear clamps are so superior to worm gear hose clamps. Not only do they look much better, they apply an equal closing force around the entire circumference of the tubing.This set is expensive compared to other brands but in my opinion it's well worth the extra expense. The one knock-off brand I tried used a thinner stainless steel on the clamps. They held okay but I prefer using better materials on my motorcycles. I'm happy to pay a little more for peace of mind.

Product used for reassembly of fuel lines for boat motor. Marked Oetiker on tool and Oet on clamps. Nice set. Easier to close than PEX clamps because, clamps are thinner. Speedy shipping. Although it was sent Priority Mail in a lightly padded postal envelope, the box was broken through by the loose tool and there was no chart as shown on the picture. I hope the sender will send me a new box and the missing chart. Evidence shows the box broken in shipping. 1 star for speedy delivery, 1 star for good quality and 1 star for a good price. Missing 1 star for broken box and missing chart.UPDATE Left msg with seller who promptly sent me a new box and chart without question or hassle. Upgraded to 5 stars. Love the set and will recommend for Boat and Auto.

The box did not have the tool.

I have only used these on a few applications so far....but they are certainly nicer than worm screw hose clamps. Easier to install, and Pretty sure they will hold better. The stub on the clams does stick up a little, but (again) not as bad as screw on clamps. I won't know for sure how well they hold until I get a chance to run the sprayer a 250-300 psi. Only have used on air hose at 135 psi so far.

I bought this kit to use on my 1999 Audi. It is a pleasure to be able to remove the various screw-type hose clamps that had been installed over the years by the previous owner and replace them with these factory-type clamps. Not having to worry about cutting fingers on those screw-type hose clamps is a real plus. I liked the Oetiker clamps so much that I also put them on the heater hoses on my Suburban.The kit is easy to use. The only caution is that you need to use the smallest clamp that will fit on the hose - even if you have to work to get it on the hose. The other caution is that this kit includes smaller clamps only. For bigger hoses, you need to buy a kit with larger clamps.The tool is nicely made, and the box that holds the tool and the clamps looks like it will hold up to use. Nothing in the kit is flimsy.

Great product for the DIY projects and for the home mechanic/repairman. This set comes with the pincer and a variety size clamps. So far I've used it on repairing a few air line hoses, a garden hose and made on a nice crimp on my motorcycle radiator hose. These clamps no only look cleaner and more professional, it has a secure hold and is easy to use. The only thing I wish I would have done was to purchase this a long time ago, no more using those screw clamps. I am very happy with this product.

Good assortment, easy to use. Read other reviews! Although this is an assortment, not all sizes are covered. Covered the one size I needed to solve my issue, but I will be buying some fill in sizes.

If you use this type of crimp on clamps, this tool is well built and does a good job.
