(Made with an aluminum housing).3) a very bright flashlight. I am putting it on my latest toy when it arrives but was playing around with it on an airsoft gun to see how well it works. I went with this model because I wanted to make sure that it would charge off a standard USB cable and not need some special magnetic adapter like some of the other models (then you lose or break said special cable and you are SOL). Only 1 slight minor grump is that there is not charge indicator lights. I would not recommend for anything with less than a 4" barrel though. as the buttons will go around the trigger guard, but that is just my preference and it looks like it would work on a 3.3" XD Mod 2 double stack 45.
