I feel this Arran 3-in-1 Waterproof Jacket is the pick of all their 3-in-1 Jackets, It's got plenty of pockets which have plenty of room, they have storm seal a rubber seal that folds over the pocket zips, taking of zips the main one is far more robust than the one on the Hillwalker jacket, the hood has a larger built-in visor which help mold the hood to stay in place more together with the pull cord really give help the hood stays in place without flopping over your eyes, This also comes with the polar tech fleece which is a perfect lightweight mid layer together this is you a warm cosy feeling, Berghaus's own hydroeseal elite fabric is totally waterproof it's weave is much tighter than the Gore-Tex fabric it beads much better the water just runs of it, if your budget can stretch to this jacket over the Hillwalker than just buy it even at the standard price of £189 I was very lucky as it was discounted to £139 then for some reason amazon offered me another 20% of making it £111.12p a mega bargain but still at £189 it's well worth it as my last berghaus lasted over 7yrs, the only niggles are for me the sleeves are about 1 inche to long and the velcro strips should be longer to make a better seal from wind and hard rainy conditions, I would say to anyone if you're looking at getting a new waterproof jacket buy this one!

Only the outer shell was delivered, no fleece was included. What an absolute scam! Beware before you buy.

Love the coat, even if it is a little neater than I'd have liked. Smooth material is extremely water repellant. The Napoleon pockets (both inside and out) are very handy and other pockets are deep and lined for warmth. The only qualm I have is wearing a backpack the bottom of the outer tends to ride up in to lower back area and the inner fleece does not. When it rains, the bottom end of the fleece can get wet as there is nothing to join it to the outer so they move in unison. Minor thing, but it gets tedious having to always be aware of it and checking it all the time.

This was a Christmas present for my son. It was a great fit, good arm length. He loved the fact that you could separate the inner jacket - two jackets in one!

Waiting for the rain to try out properly, but the fit is great. I brought the Medium, outer jacket is a nice not over loose fit. Thie inner fleece however comes up small, i have broad shoulder so might just be me. I was looking for a good quality outer jacket, so I guess someone of smaller build in my family will end up with a nice fleece for Christmas!

Bought this for my husband to replace his old navy Berghaus. This jacket is shorter and fits more snugly than his old one, and is more stylish and sporty looking.It is a lovely bright blue and the fleece is also a lovely matching shade of blue. My husband really really loves his new jacket and uses it every day for walking our dog, going shopping etc. A really good buy. Delighted with my purchase.

A good quality jacket as you would expect from Berghaus, the only problem is there is not consistency in sizes. I bought the same size as my previous Berghaus but this is smaller.

Love the fleece. The jacket also feels great. Haven't used it yet. Most of all, really fast service. Got a larger size, returned it and got the right one. Refund processed smoothly.
